If Newhook progresses it wouldnt shock me to see Dach end up on the wing. I would still love to see a Slaf - Suzuki - Dach line. They'd be incredibly difficult to deal with physically.
If we want the Habs to be serious contenders in the near future, we need Dach to play and thrive at the center position. I’m sure coaches and management feel the same.

Definitely AI
Not AI. I've been in the practice facility in Brossard and was able to capture this picture of Kirby Dach's thighs. I asked him to flex a little and he did! Sweet dude.

I feel Dach is still a question mark for what he can be. I know the potential and the tools, but only 2 games last season it feels like it's been so long since we've seen him play.

Having him healthy in the lineup changes the dynamics so much. Very important if this team is going to take the next steps.

You can see his potential, if he stays healthy he will be a huge asset.
The Habs have basically added 2 highly skilled players in their top 6 over the summer!

This guy is lying to your face. Here is the truth of what happened. I was walking around in that facility in Brossard, and here comes this guy who wanted absolutely to take a picture of my legs, for some reasons... and here they are on internet.... damn!

Obviously, we want to see him have a healthy season, first and foremost, and considering the opportunity he will be given, we want to see another step in his development.

With that being said ... How many points does Dach have to get this season for you to say "He had a good year?"

I think that number needs to be higher than 45-points for me.

More than a specific number of point. I want to see him dominate possession and excel in transition. He needs to show the ability to be a good 2C behind Suzuki for the bulk of the season. That also involves good offensive production.

You have to take into consideration that he'll be the 2nd line center and is unlikely to play on the first PP. It's very hard to do more than 70 points as a 2nd line center unless you play on the first PP. So a season with 55 to 65 points (in 75+ games) for me would be a good season. Basically a Monahan like season.
