Team looks different without him.

His ability to enter zone in control will be missed the entire season. It was horrible to watch this team try to get into the zone on the power play without him there.

Hopefully he comes back at 100% next season and puts all that injury history behind him.

So the Jets wanted Dach in a deal for Dubois uh?
Dubois, the Drouin 2.0 ? The one who scored 2 goals in 12 seconds last night?
LA are so weak on center : Kopitar, Dubois and Danault (Dvorak is better and cheaper ... ).

How miserable LA hockey fans are, they are stucked with the rejects Habs didn't want, I feel sorry for them.

Maybe all this was planified by Bergevin himself, he's part of the conspiracy, he proves the earth is flat and this planet is runned by aliens from the planet Xwyk2b6. I saw a dude on youtube who claims that. That was on youtube, that must be true.

Too soon to start the booze man wtf haha

His injury is such a bummer. You just see the potential for him to be a special player, you want to see him grow, but the injuries are just crushing his career. Hard to get excited about the year when he's out for the entire year.

Yeah. The main story for me was how high Kaiden and Kirby could fly. I think theyre the only way we can actually compete but with both missing time its tough to get excited.

A torn acl is often a very freak accident and more about bad luck than being fragile . With todays tech repairs he will be more then fine

A French rugby player retuned last month after tearing it in February , and nhl teams have way more financial might and access to quicker rehab then national rugby teams.

So in theory, if the habs make the playoffs , he would most probably make it back .. I like most doubt it , but I have see many such surprises before

This team is not making the playoffs so he can rehab fully.

It kills all the momentum of our rebuild.

I thnk Dach is emerging as our better forward and i believe he has the greater, star potential of our group. Easy to forget he is two years younger than Nick.

I know you are very high on Guhle, with very good reason. I think he is easier to replace but he is still a blue chip piece going forward.

We need those two to be healthy it cant be overstated.

On the bright side, Norris and Couturier are making strong comeback after missing 1+ year.

Andrei Markov become a better version of himself after his injuries. Sooo Kirby Dach at 22 years old, can easily become much better after his injuries. Keep calm people and he will be comeback better...

Nah… that’s the wrong lenses to look through. If you trade Wayne Gretzky for Adam Oates it’s a terrible trade. Even if Gretzky gets hit by a bus the next day it was still a terrible trade when you made it.
So the gap between Dubois and Dach is the same than Gretz/Oates...mmm weird example.

Markov was fully develop...not the case with Kirby. 3 major injuries before 22yo is never a good thing.

Are you suggesting they will avoid making the playoffs so that Dach can rehab properly and not be rushed? ;)

He was absolutely not a better version of himself after his injuries. He lost a big step.
Markov was never a great skater. I don't think he lost much of a step after his return from rehab.
