Somewhat agree. In no world is losing Dach a positive, he is a key piece. But I don't think losing Dach (a young player, himself) should impact the other young players' motivation or their will to compete; if anything, they should see it as a challenge and step up their game. Otherwise, we are banking on the wrong players. Its going to be the difference between watching a competitive team or a bottom feeder. At some point you want your young players to blossom and take the next step, without Dach its going to be much harder. The only positive would be a higher pick and better chances at a lottery win.
Well MSL talked alot about the importance to have each player in their right chair, Dach was providing us a 1-2 punch, maybe not one of the best in the league, but still a legit one. Losing Dach would create a big hole down the middle and our young wingers would be impacted in term of chimestry, production and at some extend, confidence. Slaf would be the biggest loser by far even if he had a couple of good games with Monahan last year, he is no Dach...Somewhat agree. In no world is losing Dach a positive, he is a key piece. Yup, no doubt, Dach is a loss. I guess players will have to adapt, just like players on other teams with character adapt when they lose a key piece.Well MSL talked alot about the importance to have each player in their right chair, Dach was providing us a 1-2 punch, maybe not one of the best in the league, but still a legit one. Yeah they f***ed up last year against Buffalo when he had a concussion and let him play on PP just to end up going again in the lockerroom.Wasn't he one of the guys who came back too soon last year? I think the new medical staff is being more precautionary this season to avoid the injury f***fest of the last few seasons.
He was in the process of accepting a pass behind him and started bracing himself - not sure what you saw here.He knew Tinordi was going to hit him and he didn't protect himself properly. Kind of nonchalant, poor judgment from his part on that play.
Are you sure you don't want some whine with that order? It's a popular drink at HFBurger.I’ll take the double HFBurger combo with extra cheese, supersize fries and a diet coke please.
I'm not sure if this is sarcasm, but to be honest I'm grouchy this morning and I'm a bit irritated by the comments about Evans on this board. I don't know what problem people have with a low paid-hard working honest 2-way centre that is the least of our problems on this team.Jake Evans its your time to shine buddy. Make the CH proud.
I'd rather have Dach progressing than sidelined.or else what, we won't make the playoffs?
No sarcasm, Great grinding center that deserves another shot. He was good before, but kinda fell off a bit. I like the kid personally. This IS his chance again.I'm not sure if this is sarcasm, but to be honest I'm grouchy this morning and I'm a bit irritated by the comments about Evans on this board. Short term solution is to bring Moneyhand at 2C, Evans at 3C, and find someone who can be 4C.
Oh, and remove Gally from the line up too.
The “prone” part is subjective. “Injured“ would be accurate and less of an argument bait.Negative and realistic are two different things. Dach has been injury prone since the world juniors.
He is a player who looks improved with the new development staff . He always skated well , but his finish looks better as does his positioning in the o zoneNo sarcasm, Great grinding center that deserves another shot. He was good before, but kinda fell off a bit. Indeed. See, I was indeed grouchyNo sarcasm, Great grinding center that deserves another shot. He was good before, but kinda fell off a bit. I like the kid personally. This IS his chance again.
Really sucks. These injuries suck man so annoying getting excited to see the boys improve only to have these stupid injuries screw everything upAny updates and this absolutely sucks my friends
I like Evans, but I would think given the lack of NHL ready centers we have in the AHL, we shift Newhook to center.I'm not sure if this is sarcasm, but to be honest I'm grouchy this morning and I'm a bit irritated by the comments about Evans on this board. So far he's missed about 25% of every season, since the last 5 seasons. I see the trend. We need him to overcome it. I don't want a Tim Connolly situation.Kirby Dach - Fantasy Hockey Game Logs, Advanced Stats and more - Frozen Tools

It's what I'm counting on.Wasn't he one of the guys who came back too soon last year? I think the new medical staff is being more precautionary this season to avoid the injury f***fest of the last few seasons.
