Saw the clip of him talking to staff and then limping to the dressing room. Looks bad. He was pointing to the outside of his right knee.

Someone was saying he had a puck hit him in the knee. Not sure if that's true but it would make sense

To be expected, Kirby Dach is injury prone.

Just like you expect Suzuki to play 82 games, you should always expect Dach to miss some time.

Got a grade 2 knee sprain in the summer playing volleyball. I was not cautious and now my knee still hurts/wobbles. Not surprised these guys will take all the precautions.

Negative and realistic are two different things. Dach has been injury prone since the world juniors.

Its going to be the difference between watching a competitive team or a bottom feeder. At some point you want your young players to blossom and take the next step, without Dach its going to be much harder. The only positive would be a higher pick and better chances at a lottery win.
