Who in their right mind would give up assets for him? We are stuck with him until next year when his contract is up.Im done with Dach. Drop him somewhere.

I don’t give a shit about D-3 or whatever. I remember the onslaught of bullshit surrounding Price. He ‘didn’t care, silver spoon’ all kinds of nonsense.Your post is just complete bullshit. Carey Price had an elite season in the NHL in his D+3 season. Kirby Dach in his D+3 season couldn't even get 0.5 PPG when mostly playing next to Patrick Kane and Alex Debrincat. Even if you want to die on the hill that people said, "Carey Price doesn't work hard enough", that season showed how he did have world-class skills to be that good early on which is why I said "Dach doesn't have the elite hockey skills or defensive awareness to get away with that". So yes, if Dach had a 70 point season you can attack my post, but he hasn't even come close to that.
Get your facts straight before going after posters.

The only stubbornness I expect from Hughes is in trying to maximize Dach’s trading value.Another surgery and done for the year lol
If Hughes sits on his ass and thinks Dach can easily be the 2C again, he's more stubborn than MB.
I refuse to believe Hughes won't add a 2C this offseason. Guy has been sitting on his ass the past few offseasons because we had way too many bad contracts. That won't fly this offseason with all the cap space we have.I don’t even think Bergevin would be that naive
Cap space and a slew of draft picks. I think Hughes knows he has to take advantage of Demidov being on an ELC for 3 yearsI refuse to believe Hughes won't add a 2C this offseason. You can't terminate the contract they are guaranteed, the only way to do it is with the player agreeing and Dach isn't going to agree to terminate his contractJust terminate contract and don't look back. Biggest disappointment
He was dealt from Chicago is because they didn’t think he would reach his full potential because of his work ethic.“He isn’t hungry enough. Doesn’t work hard enough…”
This is exactly the kind of bullshit I’m talking about. Same thing was said about Carey Price. By a lot of the same people.
Let's face it, no matter what we will never get back anything close to what we paid for. I wouldn't be surprised if like in the Laine deal, we have to add a 2nd....The only stubbornness I expect from Hughes is in trying to maximize Dach’s trading value.
Could see a team needing some salary cap for him actuallyWho in their right mind would give up assets for him? We are stuck with him until next year when his contract is up.
I too feel bad for him, and of course it’s not his fault. But I am done with him. That’s the reality of professional sports.I like how most are treating it like it’s his fault or something lol.
I just feel bad for the kid. Tons of promise but shitty luck.
Honestly if I were him, I’d come back later in the season next year so he can have an ‘offseason’ of training.
For him to just do the same thing as this year would be pointless. Start playing after you’ve gotta few months of high impact training in.
Top tier delusionLowkey good news. Shut him down and hope a full year offseason allows him to maybe figure himself out.
