Hoping you guys have a great playoff run, many loyal fans have suffered the frustration of being a Fronts supporter you all deserve the solid team you have! Enjoy ......
they have goaltending, defence is pretty good now with the addition of Konnor Smith and they’ve always had scoring. Top that off with a great coach. Plus they’ve dealt with players being out consistently. They strike a lot more fear into the eyes of contenders than Sudbury/niagara I can absolutely guarantee that.Brantford, Barrie, Sudbury, Niagara, and Kingston all own winning records currently vs Brampton, and Oshawa has split. I doubt any team wants to avoid Brampton. I think teams are more concerned about going into the playoffs playing well, and would prefer to face a team reeling a bit.

In the playoffs goaltending can win you a game or a round by itself. The fronts have ran into hot goalies like Alex Nedeljkovic and despite having the better team- goaltending was the big difference. Playoffs are a whole different breed from regular season.
If Flores isn’t playing Niagara is definitely the team everyone wants to play. Them or Sudbury with the inconstant tandem of Krawchuck and Marshall.
Fronts tandem is the worst of the big 4 in the east (Brantford, Barrie, Oshawa, Kingston) they likely have the best depth up front or tied with Barrie for that.
Barrie or Brantford with the best defence imo.
Regardless… 3 pretty good teams are going out round 1.
Done.@SoupNazi can we get this stickied again? There's no Kingston threads stickied - thanks
Hoping that Sunday is a nothing game for the Fronts.Looking at the schedules for the rest of the year, Kingston (@ PBO, vs BFD, @ BRAM) is 3 points back of Brantford (vs BRAM, @ KGN, vs OTT), 2 up on Oshawa (@ NB, @ SBY, vs PBO), and tied with Barrie (vs OS, vs NIA).
If Kingston wins 2 of 3 games in regulation or overtime that guarantees them 3rd because they'll have the ROW tiebreaker over them.
Oshawa should be able to coast to 2 wins, and maybe 3 if Sudbury gifts them another two points by sitting everyone important (I know Krawchuk kept the score close but it wasn't a close game).
It's unbelievably unlikely that Kingston catches up to the 1, but if they want any hope they'll have to win out with some Brampton help (I do wonder if Brampton rests since they're locked into #5).
Think it’s unlikely kingston gets 1st however they have a couple things going for them. Peterborough obviously is the worse team in the league. Should be the easiest game for sure and kingston can’t coast because they have something to prove and need points if battling for first. Can’t take them lightly in their home barn. Especially in their final home game of the season which is completely sold out. I predict a fairly close game probably within 2 goals but a big kingston win.Looking at the schedules for the rest of the year, Kingston (@ PBO, vs BFD, @ BRAM) is 3 points back of Brantford (vs BRAM, @ KGN, vs OTT), 2 up on Oshawa (@ NB, @ SBY, vs PBO), and tied with Barrie (vs OS, vs NIA).

Vs Brantford they’ll be on home ice where they have won I believe 16 in a row. Hopefully they can make it 17 and in regulation. Won against Brantford last time they played which was in Kingston and Lardis had 0 points.
I predict a 1 or 2 goal game and hopefully a Kingston win.
In Brampton their seeding probably is all done and they’ll rest their guys vs us in the last game of their regular season. Depends how Gillespie plays I 100% expect him in nets. He can be very very good or below average depending on the day but has played well for them lately. I predict a 2 goal game for kingston
Kingston has the tiebreaker - first tiebreak is Regulation/Overtime wins (KGN 37, OSH 35), then it goes to head-to-head (we don't need to talk about H2H with Oshawa). The battle for Kingston is not Brantford I think that ship has sailed. However
Osh has NB Sud and Petes figure that the Gens get at least 4 points. Kingston needs to win 2 games to make it interesting. Osh has the tie break so it will be interesting
If Ottawa is playing for the 8th place then DC and boyd should be shot and released. I think that Sunday if Brantord thinks it willplay Ottawa inthe first round they will come out to send a message. Niagara has Flores back and he will be looking for an easy game to the 67's will be in tough there.Kingston has the tiebreaker - first tiebreak is Regulation/Overtime wins (KGN 37, OSH 35), then it goes to head-to-head (we don't need to talk about H2H with Oshawa).
I'm not closing the door on anything yet - is it likely they get 1st? Definitely no. but if Brantford drops a game they shouldn't, and Kingston wins the head-to-head they're right there. Ottawa very well could be playing for something in that Brantford game so they'll come out full force.
