How nerve wracking would those last Five games of the season be if those determined the Kings playoff hopes.
Three of those Five are on the road, all Five vs the Pacific, one of those against Calgary.
Just got back.
Someone mentioned in the GDT that both Clifford and Gaborik were hardly noticed, and I didn't have time to respond timely but Clifford was all over the place tonight, very active. Trading him would be a huge mistake, IMO. (And don't give me "but his trade value is high!" baloney, thanks.)
Gaborik was all over the place too. I'm not sure which game that poster was watching, maybe the Boston / Calgary game, in which case I can understand that he/she didn't notice Clifford nor Gaborik.
How do some of you go to the games so often? Jeez, I was so close to punching the couple in the throats behind me.
I felt so claustrophobic. Pretty sure I groped a couple of people while navigating a 12 year old around and getting called a Kardashian was the cherry on the top. Thanks, but I'll stick with my TV and my couch.
... Where to start....
Muzzin... after passing to the other team again... redeemed himself by flattening Stamkos....
Lewis has earned the top line wing spot over Brown/Williams... Gratz Lewis I guess...
Nola
n.... keep it up...
Brown/Stoll/Williams... if you have the puck at the red line and there's an empty net ****ing shoot it...
Nice win... 5 game streak and not closing much ground...
Hope they enjoyed the game.

LA doesn't bother me at all. I usually go to the beach or Griffith Observatory during the week, so the traffic isn't that bad. It's confined spaces that bug me. I don't take elevators and I certainly don't like waiting to take a piss at a game. Last time I went there were some total ***** around me that were ridiculously obnoxious. Ruined the whole event. I'd go to a game every once in a while in a pack, but not by myself. It got to the point that I almost wanted to leave. That doesn't even factor in the hour long drive to get there and to get back. Then parking. Then dinner. It's just a giant chore and it shouldn't be that. It should be fun, but it rarely is for me.
My living room is the best spot.
Habib in the house!
What I got from this was... 1. You don't have a job. 2. You have social anxiety 3. Because there's gotta be 3 and I'm trying not to be offensive.
Went over to the Tampa Bay GDT to see what they thought of the game.
A lot of complaining about the Kings slowing down the pace of the game, which I thought was played at a very quick pace, and complaints about Lightning players being taken out of the play immediately after passing the puck.
I guess they don't finish their checks in the Eastern Conference? Give credit to some of their fans that recognized the Kings playing a physical style where a player gets some type of contact almost every time they touch the puck.
Only complaint of the night is seeing Stoll and Brown continue to see pp time while TT watches. I mean really?????
You are being nice. That's all they did was complain. I mean nearly every post was about non-calls, etc. A couple even mentioned that the elbow to Toffoli's face shouldn't have been a penalty. Yikes!
For whatever reason TT is not all that effective on the PP. Kid is still learning.
He does better during transitional plays, rushes etc. Our power play is more of stand and shoot like when at a shooting range. I think our PP needs more work in general.
Fans that say that don't know the game. That actually deserves a one-game suspension. Doubt that this lame-duck milquetoast NHL player safety czar will act, tho.
There isn't even a thread about it on the main board, but if a King had done that we'd already be on "part 2"
I remember the play now. The puck was on the corner boards and someone was standing in my way, but I saw the referee's arm go up to signal the delayed penalty. And then Toffoli going over to the bench in obvious pain.
The replay overhead looked like a deliberate elbow firearm to the jaw. If it was Shanny calling the shots, I would bet on at least two games. But as I said above, I have no confidence that he will get anything.
I was outraged that he got only two minutes, but the ref that called the penalty was behind the play and wouldn't have seen the ferocity of the elbow forearm smash.
