Kings Win 3-2; Matt Greene Is Yin, Dwight King Is Yang

Update on Herby's Green Jacket:

Brown -7
Muzzin -7
Nolan -6
Kopitar -5

Edit:

How Matt Greene is not in on this race, I have no idea.

What is up with Jim Fox's random background noise? It's kind of a new thing, saw glimpses of it last year and it's been happening a lot this year. He yells "OH" a lot of the time, it's quite annoying lol.

Also, will Calgary or Winnipeg ever lose? My God.

The more the kings win the bigger then fan boy he becomes. I find it to be completely unprofessional and annoying.

Why did you post a picture of Crosby?

They have both only won 2 in a row. So I'm sure they are really saying the same thing about the Kings after 5.

next 12 games:

7 Road games all vs. Conference or Division opponents
5 Home games vs. DET, OTT, MON, PIT, NSH

15-10-1 gets them 95 points which many believe is the minimum to get in in the West.

BTW, after the next 12 games, they still have a 5-game east coast swing including two in MIN & CHI. Also have another at ANA and at CAL aside from the long 9-day roadie. Kings also have just 3 more back-to-backs.

Things are going good right now, they'll have to be going even better if they wanna chance to repeat.

I think he is trying to be more " colorful".
Many color guys around the league are like fans that are just talking the whole time.

Where can I find a stat that shows the number on EN goals for vs EN goals given up? I swear we must be in the minus column.

I want to state again I love our game when we start physically engaging the opponent. Teams with younger/smaller players just wilt. Gaudreau starts throwing up breakaway passes to Carter. Kucherov stops taking part in the play. Tyler Johnson, bless him, still tries, but can't get the puck from Dwight King who just stiffarms him like a cartoon character.

If this is the team we get for the rest of the year, watch out. The only teams that can really compete with us on a physical level, like WPG and STL, can't handle our skill. MAYBE STL can this year, but tbd.

There was a moment when I thought this might be an interesting SCF. Then the Kings started throwing their muscle around and I thought Tampa would be lucky to win 1 game.

We've finally crept above San Jose in points percentage. That's owing to the fact that we have two games in hand on San Jose and are only 2 points back. I've highlighted all the Western Conference (Central in blue, Pacific in green)

Just got back.

Someone mentioned in the GDT that both Clifford and Gaborik were hardly noticed, and I didn't have time to respond timely but Clifford was all over the place tonight, very active. Trading him would be a huge mistake, IMO. (And don't give me "but his trade value is high!" baloney, thanks.)

Gaborik was all over the place too. I'm not sure which game that poster was watching, maybe the Boston / Calgary game, in which case I can understand that he/she didn't notice Clifford nor Gaborik. :)

I know it's a little early for some of you to take your feet out of your mouth but does anyone still believe that this team should be a seller at the deadline?
