Found no playoff thread here on our boards. So I thought I should make one.

Game is at Sunday 12pm.

PS: We will win these *****es. Their team isn't as good as last year, and we are playing at a much higher level than last year.

**** the Hawks..

Go Kings Go!

Blast toews. And show Kane what show time really is about with a nice hit.

This. Captain Serious needs a serious ass kicking and Mr. "Slide Across The Ice" needs to be given not a single inch. NOT A SINGLE INCH.

The way Kane celebrates really pisses me off. I have no idea why. I just want to kick his ass when I see him score.:laugh::laugh:

Yeah, Classless Brown needs to line these guys up.
I remember when he absolutely smeared Sedin, completely clean. It felt like that single hit changed the series.

If someone was recording my reaction after Kane scored in 2OT last year they would think I'm a lunatic. I was wild, lol.

Canucks beat us and the next year we returned the favor. Sharks beat us and the next year we returned the favor. Hawks beat us and the next year...

2 things. Gaborik and Pearson.

It was obvious last year that the Kings were missing skill and speed when they faced the Hawks. Not so this year. Kopi has a true sniper and Carter has someone to keep up with him.

Should be much more interesting this year. I would be more comfortable with at least one of Regher/Mitchell back, but I don't think Chicago is much of a difference from the Ducks' speedy forwards.

What really killed the Kings last year, was just the Hawks balance and Kane going beast.

The Hawks bottom six has been awful so far, Shaw is also hurt and out.

Sharp is having a terrible playoff's (That could change). The Hawks are not playing with the pace they had last year (Thanks Blues).

Kings just need to not turn the puck over, go from there.

Four out of the Six games I thought the Wild were a better team than the Hawks. The Wild just couldn't score, The Hawks D and Crawford came up huge in that series.

According to certain reports, Mitchell is close to returning. If and when he does come back, whose spot does he take Greene's or Schultz's?

Also I doubt Micheal Handzus, out-play's Kopitar this time around.

If that happens again, well the Kings have no one to blame but themselves.

We know he can pull a vanishing act at times but the way he is playing right now I don't see one coming.
If Q puts Handzus against Kopi in Chicago I would say we are in good shape on that match up. But that leaves Carter with the young guys against their number 1 line. And that isn't a nice thought.

This year, we have the addition of speed/dynamic elements and much, much fewer injuries (or at least the appearance of that). We're missing Mitchell and Regehr which obviously hurts the PK/size/physical play, but it'll be much closer than last year. We just need to hang around. Take one in Chicago should be unexpected but would be a terrific bonus.

I expect to only win one in Chicago, tall task(of the first two).

I expect to lose Sunday. Chicago will be rested.

I knew LA would win most in Honda Center. I was off by one win.
The Ducks just looked so shaky at home after the Games and down the stretch.

Been saying it for years, until the Kings added significant speed and skill on the wing they weren't beating Chicago, well they now have that speed and skill in Gaborik and Pearson. I honestly think the Kings find a way to steal one in Chicago and take care of business on home ice and win this series in 6.

Will also help that Chicago's bottom six has looked awful, and Shaw is hurt.

I think we can steal one on Sunday. It's quick enough we will be running on emotion. But we'll have to come out very fast and get the lead for that to be the case.
