Their was not many of us. Kid was a Center, which to me is a harder position to learn (especially in our system) and needed time. I was happy for him when his play picked up because his timeline as a King was not easy, but still worked hard.

everyone loves to bring up how lewis and king are "sutter guys" for being on the team still... that's because clifford is the "lombardi guy".

I saw the same thing in him All he needed was time like all king rookie breaking in. He needs to learn the system play in the practices and earn Sutter respect and game time. I honestly think Michael Mersch will be the next king rookie to make the jump

His leash might be just as short, especially with the contract issues facing him and continuous playoff failures.
