GDT: Kings vs. Ducks 9/28 Preseason Game

The Gooch sounded very involved with the play in his first preseason game and it sounds like his effort has carried over in his second game. If he keeps up consistently, he may not be a bad temporary filler for Gaborik's spot.

He's not that old, so hopefully he can regain his confidence and his hands.

Brown and Gilbert picked up the assists on Setoguchi's goal. That's Gilbert's third helper in his second preseason game.
 
2-0 before I get online. Greene penalty, just like old times. Missed ya, Greener.

Setoguchi-Kempe-Brown line seems to be working well, hustling out there in front of Tokarski.

i just want setoguchi or latta to play nolan off the roster is that too much to hope? he seems to find a way to avoid waivers at the most opportune times like this gaborik injury.

Kempe really sounded active on that last shift, kept hearing his name and scoring chance in the same sentence.

And Greene has not missed a beat, picking up where he left off with his interference penalties.

Dean meant business this season in making the bottom 6/bottom 2 earn their spots among a lot of competition.

MacDermid and Bickell having at it. 2 5's and Bickell with an extra 2 to give the Kings a power play when the 2nd period starts.

I'm listening to the broadcast on kabc.com on two different devices and they're not synced.
 
Stu Bickel and Big Mac(Dermid) exchange fisticuffs. Kings also gain a powerplay. I think this must be Blades of Steel rules where the winner of the fight earns a powerplay for his team.

Why? Nolan has been great this preseason and was great before his injury last season.

sometimes you gotta call a plug a plug and let clifford and stay on the team instead.

should add. keep on having this great preseason he'll have trade value.

Nolan made Clifford look like the plug last season.

Personally would rather have the cheaper more effective player than the 4th liner making over a million a season.
 
Andy A outplayed both Nolan and Clifford. The kid who everyone wanted to be waived.
