Just mess'n.... the article was about kids going back for leagues that had their seasons starting.

Yeah first cuts are almost always only the kids getting sent back to juniors or guys on tryouts. 2nd round of cuts will be the group of players that are bound for Manchester, so guys like O'Neill, Horvat, Roach, MacDermid, etc. Younger players that need more AHL time to develop, or older players that aren't in the running for a roster spot. Kitsyn is probably in that 2nd or 3rd group (last round of players sent to Manchester's camp) sent down before Manchester starts their camp.

According to Zykov's junior team, the Baie Comeau Drakkar, he was sent back today. http://www.le-drakkar.com/article/retour-de-gregoire-et-zykov-avec-le-drakkar . The articles in french but it basically says Zykov has been sent back to Baie Comeau and he might play this weekend.
