If the PP seriously improves a ton then I have no idea how they will comfortably let Marco Sturm destroy the Reign.

Noticed in all the preseason games the PP is moving the puck so much faster and far more touch passes...last seemed slow and deliberate whereas this PP moving really fast with lots of movement. So far good- Kempe not missing a beat and Kaliyev doing what he does. With PP time and a year or maturity- think this will be a great for him.

I don't like how stationary they have Anze and that he's still on the half wall--that feels like something opponents will collapse on if they scout--but it's hard to complain right now when they're zipping the puck around into a few different dangerous positions. Could be a Kempe one T, could be a doughty one T, if you respect those too hard then Fiala is open in the slot, etc.

The design is really good in that if a pass just goes through guys, it still likely ends up in Kings possession on either wall.

I've noticed the forecheck in general is much more aggressive. Theres always more than one man attacking the opposition blueline.

Can speculate here but maybe the addition of Fiala and trust earned last season has Tmac loosening the reins.

If this is going to be Iafallo, was it said what his issue was ?
His issues were the posters here who can't judge crucial talent compounded by their inability to spot a big drop off in form triggered by what is obviously playing through an injury. AI is versatile, loved by the core and a keeper. I unblocked you and Herpy. New season clean slate.

Vilardi and Kaliyev look quicker, Clarke skating doesn’t look like an issue.

I’m very interested with what Blake does with all the extra players.

Villardi is taking a spot and so is Clarke. Yes Brandt changed my mind. He has a role already in improving the team and himself on both sides of the puck. Regression could happen and change things in the first 9 but every game it looks less and less likely to happen.

Absolutely. To even add to that. How crazy if they get their Doughty in Clarke, and their Voynov in Spence? That will be some crazy luck but I can see it happening for sure.

Love Spence. I have nothing against Walker but man I’d love these guys up instead if they can move him.

Yeah I like Walker but the writing is on the wall. Clarke and Spence do what he does and are younger and cheaper. And there’s still Durzi too. Too bad Walker got hurt, hopefully he can get a chance somewhere.
