About what was expected...#lakings Dustin Brown signs extension for 8 years. Cap hit of $5.75 milllon per year.

Little higher than I expected, but not by much. The deal will be very favorable moving forward given the inflation of the league in a few years. He deserves it, hopefully the entire team is played out here in LA.

Wow. Big money for a whole long time. Guy earned a raise and the chance to be a king for life.

Man... In about 5 years we're going to be the red wings. Old and hopefully able to keep on trucking!

I guess some people are gonna hate it, thinking he was worth like 4.5M. 5.75M is not a bargain but it's a good deal.

Always remember...

Though reported at 5.75M per, league source pegs Dustin Brown extension 8 year extension 5.875M cap hit and front loaded.

Great news. Brown has earned this for sure.

And come on, Blake is already in my head, and that interview just had to be done in front of a picture with Blake in it? Just shoot me now.

It wasn't coincidence. They had just finished doing Dean's interview about hiring Rob Blake before they made this video at the same time.
