I wish this was like January of '14 when we could actually hang our hat on metrics and an unsustainable low shooting percentage team wide, but it clearly isn't.

Especially with Zatkoff in net. The only metric that matters there is the "Your goalie sucks" metric, for which Zatkoff is probably #1 in the NHL.

Won't find much argument here, other than thinking Kopitar and Toffoli are gonna start pouring in goals. Gaborik I'm less confident in because of age/recovery. He might warm up by the end of the season but it's too late.

But hopefully everyone is starting to appreciate Quick just a little bit more.

Forgot how much I hate the Rangers. Basically picking up where we left off after the 2014 playoffs. They want to play cheap but can't back it up, then look to the refs to save them. Realllly hope they continue to play like fake tough guys all night.

With the way that Forbort has been playing and the fact that they used a 1st round pick on him and all of that development time, he's staying put unless something really blows Dean's skirt up.

Muzzin is older and was a FA pick-up that has already helped contribute to some of the best seasons in Kings history. If he can be moved for significant help elsewhere, I'd do it.

Dean's got to move someone with value before they start to decline. I mean, at least once, right?
