Speaking of crappy seasons, Dergachyov has only scored two goals over the past two seasons in the KHL, and those two goals were from last season.

I'm more worried about him getting no playing time. The guy played less than 220 minutes of professional hockey last year. He's on a ridiculous team, but there's zero development happening.

Guy oozes potential, but he's rotting away prime development years while playing with a bunch of Russian heroes.

Dergachyov has been sent down to VHL recently, so he finally gets some ice-time now, no idea why they didn't do that earlier.

Not even the prospects are safe. Reddekopp broke his foot blocking a shot the other night, he's in a walking boot. Luff also left last night's game and didn't return after getting smashed into the boards. It looked like Luff just had a laceration on his head, though.

Luff with a wicked shot here:

What a release.

I noticed Clague hasn't played the past couple games for Brandon, either. Can't find anything in my brief search though.

Think I heard something about the mumps going around the WHL and hitting Brandon. I'm not sure why Clague is out, but that could be a possible reason.

Austin Wagner has a couple of interesting stats. +42 and 83 penalty minutes.

Watson with 4 points tonight, had a hand in all goals in a 4-1 victory. 10 points in his last 3 games.

The sad thing is he probably got more PIMs from that hit than playing time in the KHL all season.

His elbow was up a bit, but still well below the shoulder. Given the bad angle, if the head was contacted first I could see a major. Maybe the misconduct is mandatory?

From that angle it doesn't look like a penalty at all, which is weird because that's where the ref was standing. Looked like more of an acting job than anything.

Watson with points in 10 of his last 11 games, with 21 points over that span.

8g, 13A, +11

He's been consistently good since February started with 32 pts in 19 games. He's been producing on par with the league's best since then.
