Los Angeles Kings - We're Back!
Our forward pipeline is pathetic really. Team really needs to stock up with more offensive skill.
What a difference a year makes.

you rank a top 10? anyone off the radar that made a big push this fall?

Quick stab at a top 10:
1. Gabriel Vilardi
2. Kale Clague
3. Mike Amadio
4. Cal Petersen
5. Matt Luff
6. Austin Wagner
7. Paul LaDue
8. Jonny Brodzinski (he's right on the cusp of being considered graduated)
9. Michael Anderson
10. Jack Campbell

IIRC, Vilardi begins his season in 4 days.
According to this tweet it won't happen till Jan 1st.

“It’s a big trade,” Rychel said. “Four seconds is significant, no matter what years.”
A Kingston native, Vilardi has been out all season with a back injury, but has been cleared to play. He was the second pick overall in the 2015 OHL Draft, an all-star forward at last year’s Memorial Cup while going on to be a first-round pick by the Los Angeles Kings in June. Vilardi must play another year in the OHL next season unless he can crack the Kings’ lineup.
“I’m 99 per cent sure he’s an NHL player next year,” Rychel said. “That’s what made this deal possible.
“Obviously, if he’s back next year, we never move him. There are no guarantees in life, but we’ve got some pretty good friends in L.A. and, with his development, I think he’ll be an NHLer next year.”
If he does return to the OHL, Windsor will also get Kingston’s second-round pick in 2027 and 2028.
In the OHL they are not allowed to trade 1st round picks. Which is how this happens along with Raccoon's point from above.Wait a minute...... four 2nd round picks and two conditional 2nd round picks?! WTF??? I'd love to see something like that happen in the NHL!!! LoL!!!
I think Rychel's statement has more to do with all his discussion with the Kings staff (which is inferred in the article) than anything else. He's basically reiterating what the Kings believe. You're gonna have Amadio and Vilardi fighting for roster spots up the middle next year, a good problem to have.That's...an interesting thought from Rychel. Guy has missed the better part of a year of development. Not sure I can agree.
