He's still intriguing, but he's not really progressing. All that IQ and the physical stuff isn't coming along with it right now. And I agree with @LAKings88 re the hoven comments if memory serves correctly. But of all the draftees, I also thought he'd be by far the slowest to develop, so kinda suprrised if they do move on already...then again, contract slots

I'm in China, visiting first time...pretty amazing to walk on the Great Wall yesterday...go to Imperial Palace today...see the 2008 Birds Nest Olympic Stadium. All pretty EPIC...BUT, while I am thankful to have internet and be able to conduct biz back home...and even post here, China blocks Twitter and GMAIL it seems...probably youtube as well - so your twitter post re Durzi is blocked! LOL...what's his situation? I am 16 hours ahead of LA time...but still cannot predict the future.

Yes, thanks! My 18 hour travel day back is Monday the 25th...although I will gain 15 hours when I land in Denver. when I land it will be trade deadline day frenzy and the Kings will be a different team.

So Akil Thomas looks to have one of the top Points per game rates in the OHL this season, above various 1st round draft picks! Any OHL watchers here that can tell me what that really means? Is he really that good or is it about the team he's on, strong linemates and etc?

I haven't really seen too many games, but Niagara was a good team and his Pts/game went up after trading for Jason Robertson.

Of course, I still wouldn't read too much into it. There are a lot of players who put up great junior numbers but don't make it in the NHL or even the AHL. It's always good to see progress, though; that's the biggest focus during any developmental year.
