Dudas seems to be impressing - playing on a poor team but seems to be the top point scorer etc. Kind of the opposite of Thomas who is doing well on a very good team that have a lot of people scoring well

I know your post is more about Dudas than Thomas, but I need to nitpick a little.

Def. happy for Dudas, I like his moxie.

But I don't like the implication that Thomas is a passenger. If anything, he's adapted. I think it was @King'sPawn who wanted to examine the differences pre-Robertson and post-Robertson trade and it seems Thomas adapted as more of a playmaker--his goals went down-ish but his ppg went way up. He's 7th in the entire O in points per game, pacing his team. Last year, he led them in scoring, and the previous year, at 16-17, he was 4th, on a not-nearly-as-powerhouse team.

I agree. Still, Thomas's goals have gone from 22 to 31 and he may get close to 40. Pretty jazzed that the Kings are drafting well in round 2, 4 years running!
2015 Cernak (oh well) 2016 Clague 2017 JAD 2018 Thomas. That's pretty damn good. And now consider that the Kings have 2 more highly touted second rounders from the last 3 drafts as well: 2016 Grundstrom and 2018 Durzi. I would suspect based on the addition of those 2, the Kings have more talented second round prospects than any team, 2016-2018. Of course, a pool of 5 second round draftees in 3 drafts. All 5 have promise. You really can't say a single one of them are sucky.

wasn't saying anything bad re Thomas - that is why I said he is doing well - just complete opposite circumstances - Thomas is in a team that is stacked, and they all must be benefiting points wise - but then again he may be getting less minutes or not top line duties at times. Dudas is obviously playing in a worse team, and points will suffer from not being in the O-Zone as much - but he may be getting constant top line and minutes etc.
Both seem to be doing very well in very different situations. Be interesting to see how both go next year.

Durzi saw LA doctors on Monday....that's why he was here this past weekend. I have not heard the results of him seeing LA doctors.

This team's strength and conditioning suddenly went downhill when what's-his-face (former strength coach) left to Calgary, and surprise, they're suddenly doing pretty well physically.

The team's actual doctors though, yeesh. Have we ever had some f***ups over the years or what?
