I fully expect Pearson to win this but Zykov absolutely is the better player. Higher upside for sure and fits our system to a T. Wanted so badly to vote Gravel here though.

Jake Muzzin is not a prospect according to hf rules since he has 56 regular season gp + 17 playoff gp putting him over the 60 game mark for hf. We will be going by that.

I have a huge mancrush on Bartosak So pumped we landed him.

He's a hell of a goalie. I think he'd be my next add after Porkins. But certainly not Miller or Andreoff. I don't see either guy having huge NHL potential. Andy can be a great 4th liner but Bartosak and Porkin's potential is much greater.

No. I agree with you about Bartosak being a great prospect. Just seems TO ME that some prospects (Andy and Miller) are getting over hyped.

got it. i look at guys differently then with a slightly different set of standards. until you make the club out of camp and play an entire season, i don't consider them full time. Muzz to me is borderline atm, he could easily end up in MAN again to start the year. different definitions is all it is, moving along

I voted Zykov over Pearson, because Zykov turned 18 in May and
Pearson turns 21 next month. Zykov scored 50 goals (playoffs included) before his 18th BDAY, when Pearson scored 15 goals at 18. Plus, Zykov did this while just arriving in North America.

I voted Zykov but am torn between he and Vey. Max is our second best Russian or was up until my digging in to Zykov. I have asked around and there are tons of people who can't believe that he slipped and that we might have picked one of the top 5 players from this draft (behind Mac Drouin and Jones).
