Funny how Vey beats Pearson in every statistical category as a Pro and in Juniors, is in the top 5 in the AHL in scoring in his second year as a Pro (and the youngest player in the top 5) yet somehow Tanner Pearson, is considered by HF posters as a better prospect. Vey, I guess because he wasn't a first round pick, somehow just is not the glamor pick of the any of the Kings internet boards, yet, with the exception of Toffoli, is probably the most talented NHL ready prospect we have as a forward. :shakehead shame on you guys! Come back to this post in a couple of years so I can tell you I told you so. :)

Exactly. I'm judging prospects based on their potential AND how likely they are to make it. Name doesn't matter. Draft position doesn't matter. Hence why a guy like Gravel is going to be higher on my list than most.

Voted Vey

The more you guys see this guy play the more you'll like him. He was the best player in Manchester last season and that includes Toffoli

It isn't just points that make someone a top prospect.

I do think Vey gets unfairly overlooked, but I am slightly higher on Pearson simply because he made a very fast transition to the pro level, and he looked better than Vey when Vey was the same age.

But there are a few who are very close.
