Sutter rarely yells at his players, nevermind doing it game after game. And honestly, I can't think of one player we have that would do that, nevermind the team as a collective. That article comes across as per BS based on everything I've ever read/seen about how Sutter operates and the type of players we have.

Several vets not happy at times, but coach won't be fired by DL. Will leave on his own terms (ie retire) when ready.

Here is a rumor and I mean a rumor that I heard last week and that is that Sutter has plans on retiring this summer regardless of if we make the playoffs or not. Pretty open ended rumor. I mean could he make plans on retiring at the end of every season before the season ends? Maybe but unlikely. Could he have been getting tired and ready to retire at the end of this season? Maybe but who knows? Could it just be another stupid rumor that goes around? Maybe. Could it be a safe bet to make a post written that way so that IF Sutter retires this summer you can post an article that says "Nailed it" and post a link to where you speculated that it could happen? Maybe. There are allot of possibilities is all I am saying. I actually herd that rumor but I put as much stock in it as I hope anyone reading my post does.
That almost sounds like he read this very article and regurgitated it in his own words. I have no doubt that some vets weren't happy. With players like Williams, going through a contract year and being used on the third line after his successful last year, and Richards having a horrible time dealing with his regression, I am sure they weren't singing songs and going about their merry way this year, but to the extent explained in that article sounds far-fetched.
Don't know if this deserves its own thread as Brooks can be hit or miss, but anybody else see this?

My dog told me he heard from a cat in the neighborhood that Obama was born in Kenya, not Hawaii.
The only two road losses "within two weeks" (notice he didn't write "this week") were in Minnesota and Chicago.
The Kings played pretty well in Minnesota despite the final score but they had one of their worst games of the year in Chicago, and Sutter obviously knows the personnel in Chicago so I am thinking if this happened at all it was probably Chicago.
Given all that, I call BS anyway. They probably had a players' meeting, but I can't imagine the Kings having a players-only meeting and not having the courtesy to ask Sutter to stay outside during the meeting. That whole thing with barring the door with three heavy refuse containers and emptying the room is pure drama-nypost-absolute-bull-**** nonsense.

lmao...

yea. People shouldn't believe garbage that is printed by brooks or the ny post.
SUTTER: “That’s a misconception, that guys yell or holler. The only time you yell or holler is because the crowd is loud. I don’t really get it. How could anybody get a point across by yelling or hollering? I think that’s a dinosaur. The best coaches that I’ve played for, the best coaches that I’ve worked with, aren’t. They’re straight up and they’re straight shooters, and they look at you and they tell you the truth. A lot of times, what’s best for the individual is not what’s best for the team. You have to be able to manage that.’’
http://lakingsinsider.com/2012/05/04/sutter-pushes-the-right-buttons-for-players/And while Sutter is certainly intense, he’s not a monster. The worst fears of the players, that Sutter would scream at them and berate them on a daily basis, have been unfounded. He’s certainly prone to a tirade in practice now and then, when drills aren’t going well, but that’s the same for every coach. Sutter isn’t shy about challenging players, both 1-on-1 and as a team, and his criticism can be sharp, but Sutter said it’s rooted in his desire to be honest with players.
