We gotta find out who the Wings lube up to get the refs to be so completely generous with them. Totally lopsided officiating but WAY TO GO KINGS!!!!! Solid win. Gotta find a way to keep things up.

Babcock had no reason to melt down, I swear there was steam coming out of his ears. Its a shame the FSW ticker covered up the clear reply.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Babs was absolutely losing it over that call which was it turned out a good call after the seemingly biased officiating he had received all night. Happy he didn't get his 1000th point as a coach with us.
 
The goaltending, defense and the PK has really been coming around. I told my buddy that until the Kings started playing well on the PK again, I wouldn't really feel good about their chances. Well, the boys are making me believe yet again. These guys have some sort of finishing kick. There isn't another team in the league who can turn on the laser focus when needed like these guys can. It borders on the ridiculous.
 
I can't stand Detroit. Will be rooting for the Sharks to kick their ass also.

I forgot that those wins don't count. The Tampa Bay dynasty let us win, just like they let themselves be swept in the 1st round last year. What a team. What a dynasty. The crown jewel of the NHL.
 
Someday we can go and hold hands with the Tampa Bay fans and with any luck their b.s. er I mean their best in the league teamsmanship can rub off on us so that we too can one day hope to be in the same league as them. So sick of their nonsense on the mainboards. I like our nonsense soooooo much better. It is less nonsense more reasonable.
 
I wish there was some symbol, like an animal, associated with the number 8... Something that's also symbolic of beating Detroit for that 8th game in a row... If onlyI could think of such an animal...

The Kings play a hideous-to-watch brand of tackle hockey, wrestling on ice, really, but the standards of officiating are what they are, the Kings succeed doing what they do, and the Red Wings either weren't ready for it or they weren't able to compete against it with their current personnel. The only "win" was keeping this a 1-0 Kings victory instead of a 2-0 or 3-0 affair, and that fell on Jonas Gustavsson's shoulders.

And the Wings interfere, illegal picks and holding is so much better to watch.
