I’m shocked that it’s been 12 games without Brodie. Don’t know why it felt shorter.
The wins.

oh, thought he said nothing to argue aboutNo argument, just a response to the team playing well and a poster saying we have nothing to bitch about lately. I provided Kerfoot and Engvall as examples of something we can still bitch about
Gio has been incredible the last few weeks. Holl, Sandin and Liljegren have stepped up big time as well. Can't wait till the D-corps is healthy, so they can start resting Gio. Dude really could use a break.
Agreed.Gio has been incredible the last few weeks. Holl, Sandin and Liljegren have stepped up big time as well.
The fact that Gio has been able to do it at his age is remarkable though. He definitely needs a break.
Why? LA is in a wild card spot and they're coming off a win, it's a pretty good team actually, I thought trap games were games where the opponent is clearly a worse team, if anything this is a revenge game for the LeafsPotential Trap Game.
exactlyMore like what I expected.....ease Brodie back in.
for me it seemed like he was out foreverI’m shocked that it’s been 12 games without Brodie. Don’t know why it felt shorter.
Timmins I don't think has ever played the left side, and Brodie is comfortable on either sideIs Brodie playing LD with Timmins? I thought Brodie does better at RD?
Feels like this one is a loss, I think when we were on a heater last year the team who stopped it was LA when they played us in Toronto
Hope I'm wrong though, we need to keep up with Boston and their stupid pace!
They did but in the rematch the Leafs destroyed them. They already had their most pathetic effort against LA in the first game so there's nowhere to go but up from that at least.Feels like this one is a loss, I think when we were on a heater last year the team who stopped it was LA when they played us in Toronto

I do honestly wonder why the Refs didn't regulate that game? They always do to the Leafs.
Why Engvall still has a spot on this team. But based on what I see on these boards the last month or so there's not much to argue about.Leaf fans in shambles as they have nothing to argue over.
Both goalies playing well
Both Sandin and Lilly playing well
Both Matthews and Marner playing well
Who do we argue over??? Timmons and Hollowell?
Is Brodie playing LD with Timmins? I thought Brodie does better at RD?
If Sandin and Lilly had a little bit more time in the league this group would be solid to go with.Glad to have Brodie back in the lineup! I can see him slotting in on the third pair with Timmins to start.
Sandin - Liljegren
Giordano - Holl
Brodie - Timmins
Wouldn't bother me. Engvall should be able to do so much more but at his price tag he isn't. Calgary usually likes to muck it up so Simmonds won't hurt Saturday.Hopefully Simmonds is in Saturday for the weakling Giraffe
26th ranked PK, but their PP is 8thYes. Bottom 5 goals against
Kings fans think they're going to get dummied. Why? LA is in a wild card spot and they're coming off a win, it's a pretty good team actually, I thought trap games were games where the opponent is clearly a worse team, if anything this is a revenge game for the Leafs
Wow.Martin Kaut on waivers is interesting - former 16th OA RW, only 38 NHL GP. I would imagine he doesn't fall further than a few of the bottom-5 teams.
When did he become a King? Thought he was on Colorado.Martin Kaut on waivers is interesting - former 16th OA RW, only 38 NHL GP. I would imagine he doesn't fall further than a few of the bottom-5 teams.
and every time they seem to sit Engvall, when he comes back he plays good for a bit lolWouldn't bother me. Engvall should be able to do so much more but at his price tag he isn't. Calgary usually likes to muck it up so Simmonds won't hurt Saturday.
Engvall needs to watch a game or two.
