Crazy to think that with a fully healthy group, Benn and Mete are like 8th and 9th on the depth chart lolHe was on the ice before practice but didn't practice with the main group. He's still week to week.
I've liked Benn's play want to see more.Crazy to think that with a fully healthy group, Benn and Mete are like 8th and 9th on the depth chart lol
He's been good yes, I'm just not sure who he displaces outside of maybe Timmins, though Timmins has lots of potential and I want to give him some rope if he's finally healthy for the first time in his career. As much as I rag on Justin Holl, he's been pretty dynamite stepping up in the absence of Rielly/Brodie/Muzzin.I've liked Benn's play want to see more.
I thought ZAR played his best game against Dallas. You’re right though, if we’re going to get minimal offence from Engvall and Kerfoot, might as well put two guys that are going to hit and grind. The number of times Engvall lost puck battles was bad. Why not try Steeves or Anderson in their place?Also...Aston-Reese led the team in hits and blocked shots(tied with Sandin) on Tuesday. We desperatly need people who can hit.

No argument, just a response to the team playing well and a poster saying we have nothing to bitch about lately. I provided Kerfoot and Engvall as examples of something we can still bitch aboutWhat's the argument? Isn't everyone agreed on the need to replace them somehow?
Hopefuly not the usual disappointment coming home.Team is playing it's best hockey of the Dubas/Keefe era, hopefully they keep it rolling here.

Samsonov gets the net.
I think they'll be fine. The team has looked different, playing with more purpose since the West Coast debacle.Hopefuly not the usual disappointment coming home.
Hits and block shots from a 4th liner is exactly what I wantI thought ZAR played his best game against Dallas. Bold but maybe he takes Muzz'ss place as a physical net clearing D man. (I think Muzz is retired) Yes...I know that's bold. Maybe a Holl who is smart enough to not throw the puck? He's been good yes, I'm just not sure who he displaces outside of maybe Timmins, though Timmins has lots of potential and I want to give him some rope if he's finally healthy for the first time in his career. As much as I rag on Justin Holl, he's been pretty dynamite stepping up in the absence of Rielly/Brodie/Muzzin.
Struggle an awful lot on home ice though.I think they'll be fine. The team has looked different, playing with more purpose since the West Coast debacle.
They would be on most teams though. Benn is decent as a #6, but Mete is AHL calibreCrazy to think that with a fully healthy group, Benn and Mete are like 8th and 9th on the depth chart lol
Benn is an ideal 6/7. Can play either side, up and down the lineup, and can rotate in and out while giving a physical presence for tougher opponenta.I've liked Benn's play want to see more.
8-2-3 at home so far this season.Struggle an awful lot on home ice though.
Getting results, but seem to struggle, let’s hope it doesn’t go to OT.8-2-3 at home so far this season.
Kings are a decent road team though, 7-5-2
