Explain how on attack the opps never seem to give Hawks easy paths to the high danger slotcarea..but incobtrast the opps attacking Hawks net are so often wide open with nary a checker in sight?

Byfield has been incredible for them lately. Talk about a player coming into his own. Then of course there's Kopitar who is still damn good. Big test for the young defenseman.

Lets not forget a "Fight" in the opening minute and I ain't talking about two women swinging purses on the concourse arguing about a man.

Fight with a purpose vs. this staged shit. I could never understand this dropping of the gloves off the opening face-off as in what purpose does it serve? Fight when you need to change the momentum or when someone takes liberties with CB (or our better players).

I would say I need some ugh err ah "foreplay" before getting into "it", but several of you here would get the wrong idea.
