I know, that's why I responded that it was easy at practice because the Habs defenders are shit in that situation. They fail during games because the gap between their practices and real-game situation is too big.
I think this is also why the pp is such trash because when they practice it our pk is so terrible that everything they do works and then in a game situation when the other team has a proper functioning pk nothing works

Ah.. I thought you were talking about the way they defend 2-on-1s in the games. My bad.
That's a problem too.

Habs have like the worst stats for allowing these kind of passes this season and in the little vid Slaf took his time telegraphing the pass and Guhle and Primeau were still "late" for it. And both knows Slaf never shoot on top...

My god, that 2nd PP is depressing. Glad to see Ylonen being given a chance, but holy shit the 4 other guys have about the creativity of a f***ing door knob. They must be hoping for a garbage goal fiesta.

Also, Slafcaufzuki lives. 'Tis written in the stars.

Actually what it may mean is that Dubois was full of shit.
I firmly believe the real smoke was pre-draft the year before that a deal was close and the Jets moved the goal posts. Everything since was the smoke and mirrors some people insisted it was. While Dubois was still on the market I think HuGo stuck to their guns and weren't upping the ante particularly a year later.

So do you guys think the Montreal faithful will be kind to PLD whenever he touches the puck?
We dodged a bullet............he has been pretty average since going there...............I would think people could care less??
We did not want to empty the cupboard for him, and it was the right decision.........moving along.

True.
Both our special temas suffer from the same sickness. PLAYERS STANDING STILL. It gets so bad I remarked on it a couple of games ago where only Kaiden Guhle was actually moving his feet. He was putting more pressure on the D than our forward was. The closer you are able to get to an adversary the easier it is to cut down the lanes. We haven't been a very strong skating team for quite some time now yet we have forwards who can skate...

Make your own conclusions.

Speaking of the Kings, was mcsorleys illegal stick penalty back in 93 the last time we have ever seen that penalty call? I dont ever remember seeing that again.

random thoughts.

No, the Leafs infamously requested a stick measure of Spezza's stick when he was a Senator back in 2009. Spezza stepped on his stick and broke it. They still measured it. Leafs were awarded a PP, but didn't score losing 2-1. Ron Wilson was Leafs coach.

McSorsley is just the most famous measurement.

In typical Habs fashion I see us ended the Kings streak.
According to the poll, we‘re in tank mode. Kings are far superior, Easy loss on paper. It means the time is ripe for Monte to have a game where he stands on his head.

As long as they get a couple, and play a good game...............Kings are a big fast skating team, but geez they are also first round fodder each and every year.

The offense from the forwards has been pathetic for the past month. 5 of our top 8 goalscorers since November 9 have been defensemen.

According to Mrs McSorely, anyway.

On topic - not staying up for this, we're going to get strangled. Something like 3-1 Kings +/- an empty netter.
