I think what the Habs need this game, and I think Burrows will agree, is more back passes.

And smaller/softer players to get the puck after the dump and chase is in full swing. I personally enjoy the back-pass when they are close to the offensive blueline, everyone stops, throw it back 40' and wait for that dude to dump it in. Totally effective. A delayed dump in.

I feel we’re scratching the surface with Jiricek and Nemec, so I assume Rheinbacher will take forever to properly evaluate. As for Slaf, he’s right at that place where he might take that big step forward. Or not? It will be exciting to watch.

Good top 4 guy, the contract right now is meh but he was part of a core that won alot. Like I said the contract now kinda sucks but there was alot of years that tampa extracted from him before he got his 8.5 million. I agree with your overall assessment of him though. He's no hedman
I wasn't aware he was making that amount, too much but he did as you say contributed in his role and won cups. That's all that mattered then, now comes the hard times perhaps and TB is dying slowly and I''l gladly be there with shovel in hand when the time comes.lol

Nemec has been getting 20+ minutes in both of his games , NJ staff seem to be impressed w him

Tankers delight coming soon. 10-0 on the road I wonder if we can end that streak.
One thing is for sure we will have to be far more engaged than we were in LA.
Without Wi-Fi, we’ll probably get pushed around again! Sign Carl Racki!!!!! Pretty boy!!!

Now the next step is for them to actually pull off a successful 2-on-1 in the games. They've had quite a few of those together the last bunch of games they were on the same line. And every time, they fail the mission.
Last game it was Suzuki/Slaf if i’m not mistaken. Suzuki decided to shoot.

Oh yes indeed,Montreal fans will be as classy as usual.lol

Good to know in case I'm ever in dire need. lol.
Eh this one's justified. Anyways I doubt PLD cares, he's making 8.5 million per year which he would have never gotten here.

Whenever I'd get booed,it would just charge me up more. With him pumped from boos and can we expect PD to get the same treatment? Montreal will be in tough tonight.

The Dubois trade still looks really good to me for LA. Quality over quantity. he's just getting started.

Vegas added a big piece to their cup winning team when they were able to add a disgruntled Eichel. So did LA in Dubois.

We need to find the next Eichel/Dubois, or even Debrincat or Fiala, or Stone, at some point in our rebuild.
The kings are not winning because of Dubois, they’re winning because their 2020 2nd overall pick is developing into an impact player.

But it's still early in the Dubois deal...

He's a good piece.

I think the problem is that the Habs defenders being unable to stop cross ice passes in the slot are detrimental to the forwards getting better at it against the rest of the league.

Imagine that, picking second overall three years ago and now their competing.Good management can accomplish that.Stay tuned.

I'm talking about Slaf and Cole having many 2-on-1 chances together and have yet to convert those into goals. Because the video I was commenting on was at practice where Cole and Slaf had two 2-on-1s and they scored on both of those.

I know, that's why I responded that it was easy at practice because the Habs defenders are shit in that situation. They fail during games because the gap between their practices and real-game situation is too big.

Ah.. I thought you were talking about the way they defend 2-on-1s in the games. My bad.
