I have zero confidence in Sutter, or DL for that matter. Sutter should have been canned the moment Julien became available. DL refuses to let go of the past and its ruining this franchise.

Look at what a coaching change did for St. Louis, they're much improved. Its the exact shake up this team needs right now.

This is how you know nobody has anything more than a guess for an answer. We have people wanting Lombardi to do things that very few GM's do, like trading Kopitar back in 2015 before the monster contract to recycle the assets gained by doing that into the next wave of championships. On the other hand, we have people wanting Lombardi to do the thing that every GM does, which is fire a coach because you can't fire a team. Everyone is just throwing darts at the board. Be unique, and be like everyone else.

I caught the last five minutes, we looked bloody awful, trying to chase the game and we could hardly make it through the neutral zone, the Ducks looked more likely to score.

It almost feels like other teams have figured us out, give us the outside, wait in the middle for a wonky pass, catch us on the counter.

We don't seem to have enough of that heavy hitting drive to the net that we used to thrive on.

It really is the story of the season. Everything they do is canceled out by something else they do. Carter, great year. Kopitar, worst year of his career. Pearson, career best year. Gaborik, looking at a career worst. Budaj, career best. Zatkoff, career worst. Forbort comes along to give the defense another option, but then Muzzin has looked like crap from even during the World Cup.
