I know you can't just shoot always but with time running out you should do something other than pass it to an empty corner

Firing the coach will change nothing.

This team has a mental block problem, they don't trust each-other or the Goalie.

A coach is not going to change that.

Also won't change the fact that Kopitar is having a career worst year.

Yeah I keep thinking back to the 2005-2006 Kings that had no future and badly needed a rebuild.

This team is inching closer towards that. How they get out of the bad contracts suffocating this team is beyond me.

Lombardi can't trade anyone worth while expect Muzzin/A-Mart.

Everyone else is cannon fodder, or Locked up with toxic contracts.

The players know this.

Fire the coach they play the same, then what ? You can't Trade Kopitar, he knows this BTW.

Trade Doughty ?

This is a really bad hockey team. There is no way we are making the Playoffs. It's embarrassing to watch. The Kings are a NHL dinosaur. We're playing chess while the rest of the league is playing checkers. Big, slow, heavy, unskilled grinders are not going to win in the NHL anymore. Wake up, Lombardi.

That's exactly why you change the coach.

But you have to have a good option to replace him with.
 
mediocrity and complacency is the worst. it's very hard to watch this version of hockey. it has been had... the kings don't have the oxes and bulls to play the system that sutter has in mind and they don't have the skill or speed to adapt. something has to happen. it's complacent and uninspired hockey that you can see the players just going though the motions like cult members afraid of getting tossed into a dark pit for trying to make a play.
 
Kings are having trouble doing basic stuff; receiving a pass, stick handling, shooting, even dumping the puck in appears to be difficult for them.

Also, I think McNabb has made a play in each of the last three games that's resulted in a goal for the other team. He essentially handicaps us by one goal every night.
 
The so-called best players on this team are going to have to decide in the off season if they want to raise their games to another level or be satisfied with being mediocre for the next several seasons.

There is no significant help coming and relying on Quick to come back and be as outstanding as he was in 2012 is not a good plan.

System likely needs to change. Players like Doughty, Muzzin, and LaDue are going to have to become much more active in creating offense.

Stuck with what they got. The players have to figure it out.

How do you even know if won't change anything? You can't predict the future. Sutter is not getting anything out of these guys anymore, he needs to go ASAP.

The system doesn't make the players, the players make the system.
 
I have zero confidence in John Stevens or any other UFA coaches out there to change anything.

MTL took the best available coach.
