never seen gallant so disgusted with this team. at the end of the day its one game, but given the bloodbath the metro is gonna be this year giving up what was basically a free 2 points is something you just cant do.
had they been locked in and buried one on the pp's early you get a team like this on the ropes and its an easy 6-1 kinda game.
was shades of those isles games with quinn behind the bench where they would collapse in the middle and take away the pretty cross ice plays we love. instead of accepting reality and accepting that meant pumping shots any decent look and getting to the net we continually tried to make the fancy pass that was quite clearly not there.
while not the end of the world, def painful watching this team piss away a point because they again werent willing to roll up the sleeves and play the ugly game it was going to take.

There's definitely truth to this one though lol, Fox has looked bad for quite some time now. Lowkey I think people are soft on him because of his backstory growing up a Ranger fan from NY, he deserves way more shit than Panarin gets.

That third period was some of the worst hockey I can remember from them in a while. First two periods weren't too good either but I can't think of a single moment in that period outside of the shift where Trouba hit the post that they were able to string multiple plays together. At least they got a point. Need to clean it up Sunday.

You can make similar arguments about Panarin but people act like he's a bum, Fox is slow as molasses and plays lazy. He looked pretty shit last season too IMO.
Yes I am partially mad at him because I allowed the HFNYR hivemind to brainwash me into taking him over Panarin with my 1st rounder in fantasy
