Reminds me very much of the first game the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim played at the Garden early in the 93-94 season. The Rangers lost and Keenan tore the whole team a three-bed, two-bath asshole in response.

Except in this one Hasek didn't steal Shesterkin's uniform and equipment. So, there was nothing good to come from this one. Except for that incredible PP of ours. Sure but first two periods we thoroughly out played them, especially the 2nd. Sharks saw an opportunity to finally win a game and we got caught lacking it happens

We outplayed them but frankly it was probably the two worst periods of the season other than the third period against the Jets. They weren't good at all in the first two periods. They just weren't completely MIA like they were in the 3rd period.

The team obviously needs a new identity. Every year is a new year. Can't expect to come into camp and the season as a finished product.

You can tell they're trying to take a step forward and dominate play more instead of relying on Shesterkin.

So far, it's a work in progress. I'm not loving the lines are they are now.

Team defense has to improve.

Yes, Lafreniere over Trochek would have solved everything. Their PK was literally perfect coming into this game but don't let a good narrative go to waste.

The entire team sucked but how many goals will our 4th line contribute this year? 4 or 5?
Appreciate Reaves and what he does but he can not be a staple on this 4th line all year.

He salvaged the game in the 3rd and was decent overall but I'm sorry that tying goal by Igor was awful. Second game in a row a tying goal just went through him.

I can't blame him for that or for most of the goals the last 2 games. That goal was the result of poor defense and the shooter right in the slot and there was a Shark right in front of Shesty also.
