And he assisted on the only goal his team scored. If you watch the highlights you'll see that Jokerit's goalie was absolutely terrible in the game today.

One goal, who cares? Opposite players scored 5. Maybe you should take one of them to play there in this year? ;)

They have a forum for you to complain about international leagues. Maybe you should roll on over there.

Why are you so mad about my opinion?

I love Teuvo as a player and think he has a great future in front of him.
Just NOT YET!!

I didnt know you have to respect only your opinion:shakehead

But if you think Teuvo will save the day when he arrives soon, then I will stop posting to HFBOARDS forever. And he has to be solid top6-player.

Will you do the same if he doesnt?

Yes. 1-5 loss again today against one of the worst teams in Fel.

Jokerit has been a middle of the pack team all season. TPK has been below that but they've gotten hot at the right time, now having won 9 in a row, so to call them one of the worst teams is a little disingenuous - wouldn't you have to admit. Saros appears to have gained a lot of confidence from the WJC similar to TT and he has been playing very well. Not to mention that hockey is a team game and TT's teammates have played undisciplined hockey these last 2 games taking 10 penalties on Tursday and aother 9 penalties today. That's hardly on TT, who took none of the penalties but goes down with the ship.

I'm not looking for TT to make a big impact this season, but you have to realize what playing him would do - and that means it will result in someone not playing and that someone is hopefully Handzus which would be addition by subtraction.

Look at the standings. They are below avarage. Not worst but not too far.

But ok, maybe I was wrong. Lets just drop it and wait for TT to arrive and show Kane, Toews & co. how the playoff-games should be played.

Your sarcasm is misdirected. I stated, as well as others have, that I don't expect TT to have a big impact this season. Yes, there are some of my fellow Hawks fans that are over the top in their expectations, but don't paint all of us with your broad brush.

In fact you seem more sure of TT's long range success in the NHL than I do. I think his vision, hands and hockey IQ are elite level, but it is yet to be seen if that translates at the NHL level - there have been plenty of hopefuls who never make it.

I'm anxiously awaiting to see how he does. If he reaches his potential he will be a very good top-6 player, even if it takes a couple years. If he doesn't, he will be quickly forgotten as the next new shiny prospect catches our eye.

Oh, c'mon. The regular season standings reflect the whole season - and all teams go through their highs and lows over such a long bout of hockey, as everyone who follows the game regularly should know. But to spell it out, it means that they're below average in the standings because HPK had an abysmal start to the season - but have found their groove since then. They're the hottest team in FEL right now, having grabbed 9 straight regulation wins from their last 9 games, as was pointed out.

Add that to Jokerit currently playing awfully undisciplined as a team, their goalie having a bad slump and the result is on the table. No reason to blame TT at all - he's been one of those few bright spots the team's currently got.

Nobody is anticipating he'll 'save the day' the second he arrives. People have been patiently waiting for him to play here since he was drafted almost two years ago. It's hardly surprising we're excited for him to come.

Very interesting to see if TT will come over and start playing for you guys. I always root for teams that have former Jokerit players in them. ;)

Teräväinen wasn't as good as normally in playoffs. Bad passes, lost pucks etc. Maybe he had bought tickets to Chicago already or something else.

Yeah, I would say when Teravainen comes over, he won't play the next night or something like that. I could see his first game being against Nashville on Sunday.

They'll give him some time to rest up, get rid of the jetlag, and settle into the team a bit.
