I think their chances of making the playoffs went from 0.6% to zero tonight. Leafs and Habs wins basically eliminated them.

Like many, I thought they would have been better this season. Treliving needs to update his resume.

Great win tonight, Campbell had another helluva game. Matty and crew on fire again, I just ask Keefe and Malhotra try something else other than stopping at Center ice to drop back to the skater behind them. Its not working it doesnt "throw off the other team" Can we figure something else out to enter their end?

also my favourite line from Gleason
When he was moving to Florida with his entourage and production company and staff , they took a train , The interview was 60 min.
And Gleason was asked , so Jackie , was there a bar on the train ?
He answered
A bar ?
The train was a bar lol

Keefe should be working in some load management with Jumbo. Maybe sit him every other game. Get Petan or Brooks or Barbz in there.

I'm not sure it's even him lacking a finisher, when was the last time he connected on a difficult pass?
 
The game had everything:

Auston Two-Goals Matthews doing his two goal thing; Lucic committing a flagrant foul (uncalled, of course, as per NHL game management policy) that lead to a goal against; referees checking the video replay to see if Hyman really was bleeding ('Do you think that's blood or ketchup, Eric?', 'Play it again, Graham... yeah, looks like it was blood, I guess it's 4, huh?'); a Mikhayev breakaway (no goal, of course); a Jack Campbell victory that included two pucks scooped from the goal line; and that rarest of sights, a Toronto power-play goal.

Despite all these shenanigans, it was still a dreadful game.

So long, Calgary, and good riddance.

As a fan of more than 40 years it pains me to have to write this email.
I have never, before this season, felt compelled to lodge a complaint about an NHL official. This referee is embarrassing the league and the game I love.
There have been numerous occurrences of blatant incompetentence in games officiated by Mr. Skilliter. Tonight's game in Calgary is just the latest in an embarrassing display of incompetence at the hand of a referee who has no business working in the best hockey league in the world.
I hope his superiors sit down with him and review the dangerous Lucic slew-foot on T.J. Brodie. His non-call on the play - combined with his (before tonight) abysmal record of 1-13 Maple Leafs losses in games he officiates warrants an investigation.
It is simply not possible for this to occur by chance. The numbers don't add up.
Disgusted by this referee tonight. Actually he has made a mockery of the game all year.
Enough is enough.

why in the wide world of sports would you think I'd enjoy watching the Canadiens beat the Leafs, or why I would enjoy watching CryBaby Paddy Roy making saves not to mention bring back the horrible memories of the only time I saw the Leafs play in the forum?
