Campbell was good. He made some big saves early too. I didn't like their game as much in the 1st... at times it was good but it seemed they got better as the game went on... minus the shorty.

They're starting to get a sizeable lead in the division again. Keep it going.

Lucic is such a goon. Watching Simmonds flip him, then seeing him spaz out when his team gets a double minor right after? Love it. Guys points total this season is the equivalent of his I.Q. Living, breathing speak and spell that one.

Matthews doing elite things. Are we honestly surprised? I can't wait to see the tears on this board if this guy gets more hardware by the end of the season.

Go Leafs Go.

Some highlights:

Jack Campbell is 9-0
Leafs are 8-0-1 in Alberta this year
Leafs are 26-10-3
Matthews has 27 Goals in 36 Games

Still on pace for 40 goals, which is pretty absurd given the missed games and the obvious severity of the wrist injury he played through

Thornton is definitely the weakest player on the team. Sad to say. Maybe he is still hurt but he can't sustain the play at all.

Really want us to win the cup for him but he needs to play better.

He's still been decent in terms of shot shares/possession. But without a finisher next to him, his lack of speed basically makes him a non-threat offensively.

Keefe should be working in some load management with Jumbo. Maybe sit him every other game. Get Petan or Brooks or Barbz in there.

This guy is such an anchor on D. He doesn't ever have a bad shift.

I was saying earlier tonight how you can really tell he has high end defensive pedigree. Kind of like when you watch Jason Spezza out there. The way Bogosian can truck out there and cover so much ice, the way he walks the line and moves the puck while built like a linebacker. You can see glimpses of where he could have been a franchise defenseman had he been a little healthier.
