WGR: Sabres GM Kevyn Adams on the Sabres recent winless streak

Excuses, no answers

Says the reporting from Montreal was not all correct, of course
If it wasn’t correct something would have changed.

He didn’t fire Adams. Adams didn’t make a move after ELEVEN losses in a row. Every assistant coach is still here.

Don’t tell me reporting that Pegula thinks everything happening is acceptable is inaccurate when the actions say exactly f***ing that.

Remember when Kevyn Adams talked down to the media for asking for interview time? That they were more worried than he was? The one where he explained in comic detail how he was incapable of doing the job?

That was six losses ago.

How is he still here?

I know Pegula is a cheap idiot who doesn’t give a solitary f***…and it’s still mind boggling.

Prediction time:
January 4th, the Sabres finish a 4 game road trip that ends with Stars, Avs, Knights. Sabres lose all three and January 5th Adam’s is relieved as GM. My out of left field prediction is Karmanos gets the GM job and Brian Burke is named POHO.

Why not then conduct a GM search, especially if you are hire POHO. That would be strange.

Unless Terry has some sort of "come to Jesus" moment........we will not be getting a POHO.

He's said on at least one occasion that he doesn't like that kind of thing -- where the GM/Coach report to the POHO, and then the POHO reports to Pegula.

He prefers that the GM and coach both (separately) report to Pegula.

Fairly certain they talked to Burke in the Murray to Botterill era, and he said no.

Burke is a smart guy; he isn't going to babysit Terry.

Terry isn't going to bring in a big personality who wants things his own way.

Unless Terry sees the error of his ways......any new GM will be more along the lines of Adams: patient (read: non-aggressive) and understands that what Terry wants, Terry gets.
