Cue Buzz from Toy Story muttering “there’s no sign of intelligent life anywhere” during these regular Kevyn/Terry meetings.

It’s insane how much more toxic this whole nightmare has been than the Bills drought. Some of it is the extenuating circumstances—Brady and the Pats making it impossible to hope for anything more than a wild card berth, fewer football games, people being able to have fun with tailgate culture, etc.—but it rarely felt like the Bills had as many “roll over and die” games as these Sabres do. There were some awful losses, to be sure, but they were often a result of a crummy team being overmatched vs superior opponents or being unable to get out of their own way, often due to poor to mediocre QB play.

Meanwhile, for as much as Kevyn blathers about getting guys who want to be here, and how it’s apparently impossible for him to sell Buffalo to anyone, they sure don’t seem to give a shit about showing any pride in representing the org.
Ralph was old. He went to 4 Super Bowls. We had OJ and the Elecytic Company/ He was a key contributor to the NFL being a viable league.

Pegula purchased the 4th best (P%) team in league history, with a 99% capacity attendance, and with zero danger of leaving town , and destroyed through ignorance and ego.

I can’t name another big 4 sports equivalent for how bad Pegula had been. You’re probably a better reference than me.

He took the Minnesota Viking/Cincinnati Bengals and made them into a terrible love child of the San Diego Chargers (relocation) and Cleveland Browns (incompetence)

Not to derail the thread, but I don’t know how Bills fans aren’t worried about the post McBeane era. They’re young but it would be wild for them to continue forever. When it comes time for their replacement the Bills could find themselves in the exact same predicament.

Id take Regier back in a heartbeat over these clowns they’ve had since he got fired. Yeah he also took too long to make trades but he actually made huge impact trades acquiring top tier talent while Adams takes even longer and doesn’t acquire shit.

The saddest part of today is that no matter what actually transpires, there’s a non zero chance that Lindy gets let go before Adams.

Ruff isn’t a world beater but he’s well respected in the NHL and falls somewhere between an average coach and a pretty good coach”

It almost makes me feel bad for Granato. He worked to play to these guys strengths. They peaked. And when asked to conform to an NHL/adult style game the roster folded for both him and Lindy.
He wasn't asked to conform, it simply wasn't working anymore at the end of 22-23 because the league adapted.

This bozo owner won't change.

They will just reassign roles and hype it up as huge changes. Some of the fan base will buy into it, and criticism won't be allowed/be shunned until we are back here in 4-5 years wondering how we are getting so old.

A reminder to the owner who will only fire KA kicking and screaming (or maybe when he see's Leafs fans take over the arena Friday). Your gm's rep around the league is he is difficult to deal with and over values his own teams talent over what the league thinks (which is looking about right).

I would think that Karmanos would be the favorite.

Three dark horse candidates: Seattle Assistant GM Alexandra Mandrycky, NJ Assistant GM Kate Madigan, and NJ Director of Player Development Meghan Duggan.
And why this conclusion?

And why this conclusion?
When they announced the new minority owners for the Bills, Terry mentioned that some of them were women and he looked forward to them being mentors to his daughters.

I could see Terry being the first NHL owner that hires a woman to be a GM.

Mandrycky is an analytics-driven AGM for a team that has done OK to start out.

Madigan is someone that Lindy might talk up.

And Duggan is getting talked up as she was one of the people that Craig Custance featured in his new book: The Franchise: The Business of Building Winning Teams.

Well, I don’t even know, I have nothing against women, but this is another experiment by a newbie GM.

Pegula has been so far ahead of the curve. Can't wait to see all the innovative things he has in store.

Nothing short of hiring a team president (with extensive credentials) is acceptable.

They have 3 assistant (one associate) gm's in waiting, including a analytics guy, the owners brother in law, and a owner who will not pay to fire people. A outside hire seems highly unlikely.
