Come on OG this is pure entertainment at this point. I mean sure we're upset that our sports team has sucked for a couple decades but the comedy of errors by this ownership group draws us in like a Greek tragedy.
Real life operates on an entirely different -- and meaningful -- level, as it always should.
I enjoy the banter and the manifold ways you guys describe the interminable shit show which is Pegula era Sabres hockey.

It wouldn't make him incompetent though.. he seems to be legitimately trying to add after his rebuild years but this place is just toxic and top talent wont come here unless being traded. He has to keep banking on washed talent trying to cash in one more time and hoping to get a reclamation out of it. It's gunna have a high fail rate.

It almost makes me feel bad for Granato. He worked to play to these guys strengths. They peaked. And when asked to conform to an NHL/adult style game the roster folded for both him and Lindy.

Honestly I wish Terry would just go full Jerry Jones. His management style is so different from other meddlers across the big 4. He doesn’t just hire “yes men”. He is now hiring people who agree with him, almost as if he has a shield/fall guy.
At least if he named himself GM he’d stop gaslighting us.

It’s insane how much more toxic this whole nightmare has been than the Bills drought. Some of it is the extenuating circumstances—Brady and the Pats making it impossible to hope for anything more than a wild card berth, fewer football games, people being able to have fun with tailgate culture, etc.—but it rarely felt like the Bills had as many “roll over and die” games as these Sabres do. There were some awful losses, to be sure, but they were often a result of a crummy team being overmatched vs superior opponents or being unable to get out of their own way, often due to poor to mediocre QB play.
Meanwhile, for as much as Kevyn blathers about getting guys who want to be here, and how it’s apparently impossible for him to sell Buffalo to anyone, they sure don’t seem to give a shit about showing any pride in representing the org.

3 Assistant GM's in waiting he is paying already, so I highly doubt it. Also doubt Drury would come here, isn't there bad feelings for the organization here ?

After that smug presser I’d have absolutely zero issue with putting him in stocks in front of KBC. Put a fence around him far enough that the average person couldn’t hit him with a tomato, but if you were your HS’s starting QB or pitcher you could still probably make contact at 50 years old
