It doesn't matter if a pile of shit remains un disturbed its still a pile.
ehhh I don't think that's the case with Donnie and Adams. Marek recently said he had heard from multiple people that Granato isn't getting fired. That was a week or two ago, so if we f*** up this upcoming home stand maybe things change. But we'll see. When you actually have faith and confidence in your coaching staff, the last thing you do is announce to the world you have faith and confidence in your coaching staff.
They’re goners.
I'm going to choose to believe this blindly. When you actually have faith and confidence in your coaching staff, the last thing you do is announce to the world you have faith and confidence in your coaching staff.

How often would a GM publicly state they don't have faith and confidence in their coach.Well historically in GM speak, faith and confidence in the coaches generally proceeds the culling
It’s a heuristic: when people announce publicly, negate the announcement to ascertain the real meaning.I'm going to choose to believe this blindly.
Facts but they also didn’t have to say anythingHow often would a GM publicly state they don't have faith and confidence in their coach.

No need in worrying about it...this is, indeed, reality. But I worry with this group of management, from the ownership on down, that they are okay with what's going on and believe it all to be part of the plan. They'll continue to preach "process" and "development" and be way too slow to make any major changes.
I don't even think that would do it. They'd just mark this down as a fluke season and say the team is young. It's going to take an epically bad run for Granato to be fired in season. Just an absolute implosion of epic magnitude for it to happen.
For those thinking Granato will be an in season firing, remember it took it the team going 0-10-2 (and 6-18-4 overall) in a playoffs or bust season for them to fire Krueger.

This is not a good team, by any rational measure. That is a myth. There are a few good players but that is it. If a GM and owner aren’t in the business of putting a professional quality product on the ice, then they also shouldn’t charge for admission to see them. No team in the history of the NHL was built and won through pure organic means. It can’t be done. By the time one group matures the other half ages out. Having draft capital and prospects gives a GM the means to ice a competitive team. If the GM is waiting for some magical date to say ok we’re now competing, then that person is not qualified to be a GM. Ownership may not care about wins and losses either. If that is the case, the fans shouldn’t care either. Just ignore them. I don’t give f@$k what the braintrust thought Or believed. It is irrelevant. If they are not trying to compete the league should take all their draft picks away until they are. You are either part of the league or you are some development program for the rest of the teams. I hope the fams pull the plug and stop supporting this organization financially. Empty building. I feel for sth who shelled out money for this.I'm going to go one step further and even if we implode.....Donny starts 24/25 as the HC. Maybe KA will actually throw his weight around a bit and demand that Donny get new assistants.
But I truly think that Adams and company didn't see this season the same way the fans do/did. I don't think for them it was "playoffs or bust". If it were, I think Donny might already be fired.
There's a good team here.....we see it every other game or so. I just don't think Adams is feeling any pressure from above and thus has no urgency to do anything other than watch.
