I think he'll always be respected for being a great oiler when he was a player. I hope for his sake that people forget his time as a manager and just respect him for the player he was.

I do believe that he absolutely loves this team and was doing everything he could to try to help it, but his best is absolutely horrible in a management role.

I appreciate that he was loyal to the team and city and believe that he belived what he was doing was going to work and appreciate that he stuck to his plan no matter how bad it might have been.

The last two were the final straw for me. The Comrie one makes me sick thinking about it.

He will still be employed by the Oilers in some fashion tomorrow. He wouldn't be out for lunch with Chiarelli otherwise.
He just won't be POHO or anything significant any longer I don't think. The Oilers will likely put him in charge of handling the festivities of Rexall/Northland's last year or something and use him as an advisor.

I have to agree with your assessment but I don't think you have to hold any tag days for Klowe. I believe he is pretty well off!
