Chia has that reputation as well until he traded for Reinhart and overpayed for Larsson. He's actually done a decent job in overhauling our defence, adding Larsson, Sekera, Russel, Benning, Gryba and Auvitu.

Shocking the level support of ex-failures in the organization - Lowe, MacT. I don't care if he has any rings, he has zero as a GM, and one run in the playoffs was more luck than anything else. They squeaked into the playoffs at 8th place. You think the Pittsburgh Penguins or Capitols got lucky? or did they build a good team surrounded by excellent players?

Lowe and MacT were more than willing to scam the city of Edmonton out of money and to traitor the fans to mock move the team to Seattle with Katz.
Lowe and MacT have a history of failure in the organization under leadership positions.
Which team has the longest playoff drought in history? Edmonton Oilers - 10 years, looking like that could happen again right now. Lowe, MacT, Chiarelli all are horrific and have to go.
If you've watched the team in the last 20 years they have been awful most of the time and have always been rebuilding since the Gagner Cogliano era.

Now is the time to treat the NHL as a professional sport and put results and winning first. Lowe, MacT and Chiarelli have no clue how to do that.
Ideally all should be fired if a culture of winning is desired.
