They can salvage their Olympic experience with a win in the Bronze medal game.
Otherwise they will be shutout again, even if they score a lot of points, and come home empty handed.

I know. when that Canadian defender (i can't remember who it was) was rubbing out JVR against the boards, I was literally screaming "Don't hurt him! DON'T HURT HIM!" oi. I just want it to be June already so we can celebrate our cup win and I don't have to worry about those two anymore

Seriously though that USA powerplay looked poorly coached .. The Leafs have one of the NHL's best PP's by having Kessel has the focal point off the wall .. Or Kessel entering the zone with speed to back off the defenders to stop short and pass it off .. And have JVR stand in front to cause havoc
... But no none of that really ...
When the US got a PP I expected to see a Leafs-esque goal .. But nope!Look, I know it's hard pill to swallow for us as Leafs fans, but we have to just admit that when his country was depending on him, Carey Price was able to deliver a shutout for our entire nation. When Kessel's country was depending on him, he could not put up a single point. The fact of the matter is, Kessel is not Canadian, he is not one of us, and he will never be one of us. If he cannot even perform for his country, how can we expect him to perform for another country's team?
