What I do hate is the idea that this guy is likely to block someone like York or Zamula as we've seen in the past with other prospects and completely useless players. There is virtually no chance York plays more than 20 games this season. This guy was our 1st round pick in 2019, has only gotten better, and is NHL ready. Why are we putting road blocks in front of him? This is exactly what Sanheim went through, except it was Brandon f***ing Manning playing in front of him for a whole year when he was ready.

This is far from his worst deal of this offseaaon, don't get me wrong. Cap implications is minimal. It's the dow hill effects that are troubling.
