I said it in the GDT, but I came to the realization today that the record isn't the goal; it’s 1000 straight games. If he gets there, he'll be the first, even if Kessel ultimately passes whatever number he sets.

So, barring injury, he's in the lineup for the whole year.
Covid might save us if we're lucky.

Injury or illness, or just a positive test with no symptoms.

Any past statement by Chuckles saying how desperate he is to win, you can throw in the trash. A winning organization benches Yandle and politely says, "Sorry, not sorry." You don't control your roster decisions and willingly hamper your team -- including benching promising prospects -- because of a $900k, 1 year contract. It was fine in theory to offer the deal, but talk about being a total bottom of a manager.

It’s such a fraudulent record too when it comes to Yandle. Being injured isn’t the only way you can miss a game when it comes to being an “Ironman.” You have to actually be able to play the game too.

Plenty of players in the past were scratched and then never played again. Their career didn’t end because they were hurt it ended because they were no longer good at hockey.

Were playing a lot of players who arent nhl players. Yandy, Conny, Seely, Grompy, Browny, McEwy. And we all have predicted it before the season started. If you look on this we maybe are tanking on purpose without saying it loud? Could this be? Maybe that is 300 IQ rebuild by Scotty and Fletchy?

And that wasn't out of desperation, Fletcher chose that. It's what he wanted. He thought that was the best thing to do.

Yeah. The more I look at the composition of the team, the more I wonder if this isn’t actually a more discreet way of tanking. The same level of discreetness with which Fletcher goes out in the evenings with his wife and another man to embrace his cuck ness.

I want to go to the game he breaks the record just so I can boo the ever loving f*** out of him.

I still think we should all chip in $5 and just pay some junkie to take his leg out the day before. nothing too serious, just enough that he misses the game.

Or even better - just kidnap him for the day. Thats probably better.

I couldn't care less about Yandle one way or another, he'll soon be forgotten, and AV will fade into the past like a bad memory.
I just want to get to the TDL, clean house and start auditioning young players the rest of the season.
Shut down Hayes until he's healthy, get Ellis surgery if needed, and focus on next September.

Once a season is cooked, the only thing of interest are the players who'll be here next year.

i will never forget this season. Or Yandy, or AV, or French Mike, or bald Yeo, or @Grompy or Fisto and his draft picks!
And the loss of Giroux, Ghost, Voracek

If you think you are a fan and can just forget about that you arent a fan. Your just a authentic fan! Congrats!

Yes, he planned on losing Ellis, Hayes, Allison, Laczynski to injury, have Frost slowly return from shoulder surgery, have Foerster get hurt, all so he could play his try hard favorites - and to ensure they'd stay in the lineup, he found a call girl with COVID to seduce some of the young players who might otherwise play.

the thing with the callgirl seems interesting! Maybe thats the solution with yandy? Maybe we can collect a few dollars?
