And Moore-Stralman will have a hard time keeping the puck out of the middle of the ice.
What does that even mean? Despite his size, Stralman does not get out-muscled for position. And John Moore is 6'3", not some pushover. He's fine with a steady partner like Stralman. Besides that, Moore-Stralman is likely to turn into Allen-Stralman or Skjei-Stralman in a year or so, whereas Staal-Klein is just going to get older and less mobile.
From an organizational standpoint, we have lots of talented lefties coming in Skjei, Allen, Bodie, and Graves. On the right side it's McIlrath (who's not a brilliant breakout passer) and Allen playing his off side. When you factor all of that in plus Staal's trade value and recent inconsistency, I don't see how Stralman isn't the guy you prioritize.
