Draisaitl is the Hart front runner. Not even close ATM
How did that work for Kucherov last year ?
"That percentage" (theoretically) decreases over time. The only positive is he will sign a franchise crippling contract.
(I don't think one player earning that percentage of the cap ever works out)
Best of luck to you convincing that guy using logic (or anything else)If Draisatl could post those same numbers WITHOUT McDavid in the line-up, I might agree with you. On the flip-side, Kaprizov is driving the Wild's bus without much help at all.
I think he's a close 4thHe's definitely a close 2nd to Kaprizov, no denying that
I think he's a close 5th
We’re at a moment in history where a German is far more removed from their countries transgressions than a Russian. How did that work for Kucherov last year ?
Also likely Makar and Hughes above him. He's definitely a close 2nd to Kaprizov, no denying that
So uninformed lolIf Draisatl could post those same numbers WITHOUT McDavid in the line-up, I might agree with you. On the flip-side, Kaprizov is driving the Wild's bus without much help at all.
Yeah I don't think he wins but maybe still has a chance as a finalist. 18 more points and 9 more goals than next highest teammate.Safe to say that any chance he had at the Hart or Art Ross has evaporated over the past few weeks.
Just 8 points in the 9 games before what is now his fourth missed game in a row.
Meh the team has to keep winning and the WIld have falling back to that mediocrity that we expect from them. The Avs will pass them in the next week or so and likely the Stars soon behind them.Yeah I don't think he wins but maybe still has a chance as a finalist. 18 more points and 9 more goals than next highest teammate.
Strictly speaking on the top 10 points and goal scorers, Kaprizov is tied with Eichel for the largest point gap anyone has over their teammate, and the 2nd highest goalscoring gap over a teammate behind Draisatl.
Voters seem to like those kind of stats.

So assuming they finish in a WC spot and KK a solid 10-15-20 points behind all of Mackinnon, Draisaitl, Rantanen, Kucherov, and McDavid, no chance he gets more than a few 4th-5th place votes.
Maybe. Still 5-5 in last 10. I personally have more faith in the Avs and Stars trending upwards than the Wild. Currently 14 points of the points lead. I expect Draisaitl, McDavid, and Kuch to keep pace, but KK has to go off to catch up.They've won 4 out of their last 5 including wins at Dallas and at Washington.
Kaprizov sitting for a week or two may end up being a good thing, make the team realize they can't just rely on Kaprizov for their scoring.
Guess you didn't notice that he's "cooled down" because he isn't playing.Everyone other than delusional Minnesota fans knew he would cool down at some point. He's a good player but he's not in the leagues of McDavid, MacKinnon, Draisaitl and Kucherov.

Scoring points from IR is probably the only thing that would get Kaprizov national recognition. He does play in a small market, after all.Everyone other than delusional Minnesota fans knew he would cool down at some point. The only difference was that those players padded stats with empty net points. Kaprizov finally in the same empty nets points conversation as those guys.Everyone other than delusional Minnesota fans knew he would cool down at some point. He's a good player but he's not in the leagues of McDavid, MacKinnon, Draisaitl and Kucherov.
You know he was slowing down before that right? If anything being injured helps his points per game because he’s been trending downScoring points from IR is probably the only thing that would get Kaprizov national recognition. He does play in a small market, after all.
Vintage HF right here. Muffin speaks with total conviction despite not knowing player has been injured. Ignorance really is blissEveryone other than delusional Minnesota fans knew he would cool down at some point.
