The only person who ever said anything positive about Guhle playing on his weak side was Vincent Damphousse. He said that it would ultimately make Guhle a better Dman when he moved back to his strong side. Was he righr?

I hope his offense starts to show now that he's playing with an actual good defender.

Further evaluation on a knee is always scary. The first thing I think of is swelling.

Yea they would need the swelling to subside so they can do the mri. Not a good sign

Hopefully Guhle's injury isn't too bad, but the fact that they need time to fully diagnose him probably means there's swelling. That's not a good sign.
Losing him definitely hurts our D. He played 8 minutes in the 1st period alone today. He plays against all the top players.
This does allow Hutson, Matheson & Xhekaj to all play the left-side.
Matheson-Carrier was terrible tonight, though.
Savard - Carrier was actually a thing at several points in the game. They seemed fine especially since Carrier can move the puck.

We have 2 weeks til then & 2 weeks of break. Maybe that's enough?

There is no replacing Guhle short of a trade for a solid vet. Hopefully it's a minor injury, he was able to put pressure on it. I hate this XhekaJ has to take on more responsibility alongside Carrier and Savard can pair up with Struble.
So we have a 2 a 3a and a 3b It is what it is.
