Nichuskin is a cautionary tale for us, a player I've been saying we should have aquired when he was low and now he's a beast. Kakko is of the same mold as him, power forwards take time to get accustomed to the league. Kakko showed a bit of that in the playoffs, as long as he works on his skating we should absolutely keep him.

If Nichushkin never got bought out by Dallas he would’ve been competing for the KHL cup this year, and he himself would probably tell you that.

He got more money than his friend Buchnevich...

@EdJovanovski what the f*** did I tell you?

Machinehead right again
We'll see how it translates on the ice
It seems as if he's doing a performance art Ala Kravtsov, revolving around the 7 deadly sins. Last summer it was Fat Kakko (gluttony), this year getting p***y Kakko (lust), maybe next year it'll be greed and he'll demand some massive contract extension

I can't wait for pride when he puts up 90 points and wrath when he murders Tom Wilson.

We better shed Nemeth. Offer sheet here looking very possible.
Wouldn’t be shocked if kakko is in a deal for Kane honestly but we can resign kakko he won’t get a big offer sheet, nemeth will be gone too

Once again, why hasn't Kakko signed the dotted line yet? Did the Rangers qualify him before the deadline, with the intent of offering a better deal once they've opened up more cap space? Are they responding to an offer sheet? Are they exploring a trade involving him?

Tbh some of you bed wetters need to calm down.

Some RFA signings off of their ELC:

McDonagh - 7/8/13 (7 days after UFA start)
Stepan - 9/26/13 (87 days after UFA start)
Skjei - 7/28/18 (27 days after UFA start)
Callahan - 7/13/09 (12 days after UFA start)
Dubinsky - 9/19/09 (80 days after UFA start)
DeAngelo - 9/20/19 (81 days after UFA start)

I’m also surprised people are genuinely concerned about an offer sheet being that they’re basically unicorns outside of the Aho one (I’ll barely count the Kotkaniemi one since it was basically nothing more than a retaliation pushed by an owner looking to meme on Montreal).

The Rangers qualified him.

Yesterday RFAs were allowed to talk with other teams.

Today is the first day players could accept their qualifier.

Other than that all I have are guesses.
