How much are the issue related to nutrition I wonder?

He seems lethargic far too often. Then he turns into a mule.

Is his nutrition dialed in? You would think 'oh he's a pro, with a massive First Class org' but a lot these people eat like shit, especially the kids.

His nutrition is a huge thing since he’s a diabetic and celiac.

I don't like giving GG any credit, BUT it is clear he is being coached to trust his shot. He calls for the puck every time he has space and has been doing it for a few weeks now. They are trying to make him remember that he was at one point an alpha. It's nice to see.

There was a comment weeks ago that was basically how he'd been a scorer far more in finland and while he had been distributing alot lately he was starting to remember he's primarily a scorer.

The way he gets space, and how effective he's making it now, is going to shine in the tight spots in the playoffs.

For someone with an insanely heavy shot, he needs to learn to use it way more often.
He shoots when the royal road isn't there. He's been trained well.

Remember when resident scout Craig J. Button said we he wouldn't think twice about trading Kakko for Kane?

and he was a GM at one point. Yikes.
Then again he was the one that put Martin St. Louis on waivers.

People were legit thinking he was better than Hughes

He was 'dominating' men.

Yeah, and it was his performance in the IIHF World Championship that really sealed it for a lot of people, including myself. That highlight reel goal against Canada where he just toyed with Brandon Montour and Darnell Nurse, NHL defensemen, was unreal.

As the game was on German free TV yesterday, you got to hear a lot from Kaapo.

We remember him well, because we kinda give af about the IIHF WC in Germany and it's always on. Great time of the year for Euros. Kaapo made himself known big time with that tournament and the commentary showed as he was talked about most from the Kid line.

I loved it, much different than HFNYR. :D

Theres no way that they don't have his diet dialed down.

In his case, he HAS to.

St. John's
18 points last season to 39 and counting. I'll take that from KK. This is the kind of improvement you want to see.

Lafreniere has gone from a lower P/GP last season to the same as Kakko this year, while playing in only his 3rd season in the league to Kakko's 4th. Seems completely arbitrary to shit on one for their point totals and praise the other, no?

I know our fanbase hates this word but patience is key. We’re starting to see Laffy Kakko and Chytil flourish. We have to remember when we drafted these kids we had pretty much out too 6 set so they weren’t getting those big minutes especially on the PP and it wasn’t showing up in terms of points. Also fans were looking at Hughes and were underwhelmed by Kakko but now we are starting to see the Gandhi they can do not just as a line but individually. They’re all still young too and will get better

Now, Suburban Phoenix. Then, Long Island
Two famous kid lines…

Charlie Conacher, Busher Jackson and Joe Primeau of the 1932 Toronto Maple Leafs (No, I did not see them play) and Adam Graves, Martin Gelinas and Joe Murphy of the 1990 Edmonton Oilers (Yes, I did see them) Both “Kid Lines” led their respective teams to Stanley Cup Championships.

Now 2023?

What about the other 90 years?

Did you come into the KK thread to bitch at me about Laf? My god the Laf cult is annoying. No one is shitting on anyone, and for some reason giving props to someone not Laf seems to hurt some of your feelings that you need to come at people in a thread unrelated to him.

Miller is also in his D+3, has doubled+ his point production from last season, gets probably the least amount of PP time of the kids, and has to play a tougher game than his forward counterparts. If I gave Miller props for having a better offensive season, will you take offense to that too?

I'd like to see fans of our team cheering for both. They're not actually in competition with each other. One is a RW the other a LW.
The better they both do the better our team does.

Miller is D+5. But yeah, I don't know why a positive outlook on one young player has to be taken as a slight to another...
