It would be very strange if he'd have type 2. Him being athlete and all...Kakko is a diabetic? Type 1 or 2?

Are they saying Kravtsov is slow lolKaapo Kakko näytti kaapin paikan Rangersin testeissä – ”Aika isoa roolia lähden hakemaan”
The coaches are pushing him but it doesn't help. Kravtsov's skating slows down and Kakko is once again faster.
Rangers coaches put their latest first round picks into an eight lap test which shows that Kaapo has focused on the right things during summer
-I think I'm in a good shape. Last time I did this test it felt a lot worse.
-We focused on strength and speed during this summer, they're the things you need in hockey.
-I think I'm around 90 kg (198 Freedom Units). I wont' get knocked over so easily.
-I'm going to try to get a big role. I like to play with the puck and playing on the fourth line wouldn't really please me.
No. They are saying that Kakko was faster. Or maybe that he has better endurance. Are they saying Kravtsov is slow lol
They're saying Kakko rekt him in every skating test. Are they saying Kravtsov is slow lol
Yeah, 65+ points is what I'm expecting, not hoping. But this is assuming 82 games played, let's remember that. I still don't know what's ridiculous about that, though.
What aspect of Kakko's play do you think will hold him back too much for that to be possible? I also think that Rangers as a team have vastly improved.
It would be very strange if he'd have type 2. Him being athlete and all...
Looking at top 2 picked forwards of the last 20 years under 50 points isn't even an achievement. It's what I expect.Im new in here, but i have to say that he's only 18 so give him some time. I don't think that he will get 50 point season in he's first season. He will be an great forward in the future!
My thoughts exactly, but the alternative is even worse. Geez..It would be very strange if he'd have type 2. Him being athlete and all...
It's not really semantics, it's a difference in what we think about Kakko. We're just arguing semantics here. Obviously I think it's highly possible Kakko gets 65+ points but im not expecting it. If he gets 50 points due to starting off slow as he's adjusting or whatever I'm not going to be disappointed with his season.
I would be amazed if he can get 50+ points..all im sayin that he´s only 18 and NHL is not for teenagers.Looking at top 2 picked forwards of the last 20 years under 50 points isn't even an achievement. It's what I expect.
Even Hischier got 52 points. That's the norm nowadays, not the exception.I would be amazed if he can get 50+ points..all im sayin that he´s only 18 and NHL is not for teenagers.

NHL is most definitely for talented enough teenagers.I would be amazed if he can get 50+ points..all im sayin that he´s only 18 and NHL is not for teenagers.
That surely sounds comforting, thanks.Played 86 games last season.
And he was #1 in beep test(Stamina) for his Liiga team of professional athletes.
I just enjoy that he’s scientifically proven to be a freak of nature. Imagine him at 21-22.Despite of not knowing about the specifics of these tests that were taken yet still to stay ahead of Kratsov at every single one (who seems like a pretty fine skater himself) is mighty impressive. Since last season I already knew Kakko's stamina was borderline unnatural especially considering the age, but it definitely sounds like he's taken steps forward in skating in general during the summer and on top of everything he's almost already 200 lbs. A beast in the makings.
I hope that door to first line remains open and is tied up to showings instead of how many pro years one has under the belt.
Has Kakko picked a number yet? I was hoping to pick up a jersey on Wednesday before the game, but that's not looking likely....
What is taking so long?!
